Tonight was the first time I have eaten at Vito's for dinner. I have had lunch there many times in the past few years and was always very pleased with our food and service, without exception. I have left a previous review to that affect and raved about it to my family and friends. Tonight my wife and I went to Vito's with 4 other family members that have never been there before. Dinner, for some unknown reason left much to be desired. Different cooks? Different manager? Different priorities? I don't know what it was but a completely different experience from our many lunches is what we had. Our usual favorite, Vito's signature Calamari was terrible tonight , over cooked, mvery tough and almost no seasoning on it. My panini was totally dried out and tasted like it was made yesterday and the French fries on two of our orders where so undercooked they were still white and tasted almost raw. I should have sent these things back or request that they be taken off the bill but my family didn't want to create a problem for the very nice waitress on a busy Friday night so close to the holidays. It was embarrassing to me since I was the one that suggested that we go there. Not wanting to take it out on our server I still tipped 20% because of the holiday. With that being said I have to wonder why our waitress didn't notice the obvious shortcomings in the food when she brought it to our table, no doubt it was because she was very busy.

To be completely fair 3 of the 6 dinners that came out were as ordered, well prepared and delicious according to the other guests at my table. I'll be back because everybody and every business deserves at very least a second chance, restaurants are...

-10 Worst experience ever!!! Pizzas were raw in the middle. We told the waitress and she took them to be fully cooked, but came back with pizzas that were not edible. We asked for a manager and there was none since the waitress sent a boy that looked like he had been working on their yard not a restaurant. He was all in dirty clothing, hair long and dirty!! We knew that he was passing himself off as someone representing the restaurant but he was no way someone would leave him in charge. He didn't know customer service or even how to apologize for the terrible pizzas!! The restaurant is under construction but they failed to let people know that the bar is not up and running, either. Vito's has no consideration for their customers and a restaurant that doesn't care about their food or customers should not be in business. We definitely will not go there again and I will tell everyone how terrible our experience was so they can not waste their money and have a terrible experience also!!! I say SHAME on Vito's Coal Fired and can't wish them well!! -10 stars is being generous. Also their bathroom were so dirty and disgusting we couldn't even try to use!!! So don't waste your time and hard earned money on them!!! Who ever the owners are should be ashamed of their poorly run...

Went here to listen to a friend's band play. Called before we went to ask about the time. Were not told we needed reservations to sit on the patio where the music was. When we got there we were told we could sit on the patio if we could find a seat but could not order food. We could get drinks at the bar & have them on the patio. Found some seats but the people sitting next to them did not want us to sit there. Typical Schuylkill county rudeness. Saw he was wearing an NRA shirt, probably a Trump voter, so no great loss on our part. Luckily we were able to find other seats by the fence. Went to the bar to get drinks, but after standing there for 15 minutes & being ignored by the bartender, I had had enough. I know he was busy, but making eye contact & telling me he would be with me as soon as possible would have gone a long way. There were 3 people behind the bar, one that was just washing glasses & one that was just standing there I believe was the hostess. Neither of them made eye contact either. Needless to say, we left without spending any money & we will never go there again. Not a great way to start off my birthday weekend. Off we went to Roma Pizza in downtown Pottsville where we are always given great service & the...

My husband and I were traveling and decided to stop here for lunch based on prior reviews. We had never been here and were a bit concerned because we pulled off I81 and drove about 3 miles down a mountain with nothing but trees in sight. When we got there, we were very surprised to find a fairly new-looking plaza, We were quickly seated. Madison was our GREAT waitress! She was very sweet, attentive, and great at her job.. We ordered the Classic Brooklyn Pizza with hot sausage and kalamata olives. It came out very fast and absolutely delicious! I wish this restaurant was here in NY because it was the best pizza I have had in a very long time. We saw many other menu items being delivered to other diners and it all looked delicious. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely stop here again. HIGHLY recommend this place!

Thinking of where to go for lunch on Mother’s Day , we searched Google and found information on Vito’s, We live 50 miles away but decided since we are big fans of coal fired pizza and there is none located near us, we would take advantage of the drive and try your restaurant for the first time. We were very satisfied with the atmosphere of the restaurant but decided to sit outside since it was a beautiful day. In walking through inside to get outside seating the restaurant was well maintained. Our waitress this day was excellent , friendly and stayed on top of things, and considering she was the only waitress working outside tables ,she did a awesome job .👏Food was excellent and presented well.. We will definitely be making a return trip to Vito’s in the near future and will definitely tell others…. Sincerely, D&D :)
