Rating: 5.3 Stars 6/6/2021 Update: I decided to stop by because I was craving their Pancakes. In my honest opinion, these are the best Pancakes in St. Louis. They have such great flavor and texture, and they are the perfect thickness. The syrup and butter complement them perfectly. As per usual, I sat at the bar. Jennifer was very attentive and nice, and my food was served quickly. I was very happy to see this place packed. I love it, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty and affordable brunch spot! 9/26/2020 Update: The Blueberry Pancakes here continue to be absolutely fantastic. Incredible, fast service! Great restaurant! 8/24/2020 Update: Ok, so I loved this place so much the first time that I went back within a week because I was craving their blueberry pancakes and wanted to try a taco. The blueberry pancakes were so good, and the hipster taco was excellent. Clean Plate Club! What a great find! BLT's is located one street off of Washington Avenue, and it will likely be missed if you do not know that it is there. I have walked by it several times on my weekly walks, and I have always wanted to give it a try. It looked like a fun place. After getting Red Velvet Cake Donuts at Pharaoh's Donuts--my favorite donut place in St. Louis--I went on a brief walk, which took me by BLT's. Because I was still hungry after my donuts and because it wasn't yet busy, I decided to give it a try. I am glad that I did. The restaurant was quite nice and clean on the inside, and it was a very open space. The service was fast and efficient. I ordered pancakes--my go-to brunch order--as a way to compare this place to other St. Louis brunch restaurants that I have attended. The pancakes were quite frankly fantastic. They had great texture and flavor, and the portion size was quite generous. The three large pancakes was a total bargain for $7.00. These were probably the best regular pancakes that I have had in St. Louis so far. The tacos also looked great, so I will need to try those in the future. I really recommend this place, and I will definitely be back. I will get the pancakes with blueberries next time. One final point: Walking by Sugarfire and getting the smell of BBQ on your way into BLT's certainly is an added bonus!

Staying in St. Louis for a few days and decided to visit BLT around noon on a Friday for breakfast/ brunch. Called ahead to inquire about any possible wait, and was told there was none. Once we arrived, there was ample seating space and only a few other people dining in. We had decided to walk there from our hotel, Hotelumiere, which proved to be a good choice since I didn't notice much for on-site parking. We were told that we could look over a menu and order at the counter then choose a table to sit and wait, or we could sit at the bar which is full service. We chose the bar. Service was friendly and efficient. I wanted coffee, but they only offered half and half for cream options. So I got orange juice instead. They do have a bottomless mimosa special that is 15 or 20 depending if its a weekday or weekend. I ordered off the ala carte menu, as I am a very simple and plain eater. Breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, and a pancake. Didnt take long to receive the food. The breakfast potatoes were pretty disappointing for me. They were firm I n texture and not browned or crispy on the outside. Reminded me of boiled potatoes, with a texture and firmness similar to what you would use in potato salad. They did have a little bit of peppers and seasoning. The pancake was probably the best part of my breakfast, which was your standard cake, nothing special. My boyfriend ordered the cheddar jalapeño biscuits and gravy. He claimed he didn't taste any jalapeño and described the biscuits to be grainy in texture. The gravy itself was okay. We were pleased with everything other than the food, which wasn't awful, but left a lot to be desired. Portion sizes were decent, and the prices weren't too bad. For the two of us, the bill came out to 35. We both decided we won't be returning to BLT. Going to try some other breakfast options here in St. Louis.

We absolutely loved this place. Downtown venue located close to the hotels that surround the stadium. Beautiful walk to and around this location for plenty of scenery. The interior has a great modern-industrial vibe with an open venue with plenty of space. Has a brewery style genre of look, but with breakfast and lunch options. You can get limited coffee options that includes lattes, frappes, and white chocolate mochas, as well as mimosas, and other drinks fitting for the occasion of your choosing. The food was good, but a little on the pricier side but only due to not having a kids menu of options. On average you’ll spend $10-13/each unless you do a la carte. You have to look that “hidden menu” up online as those options are not on the printed menus. The breakfast burrito was a solid bet overall, a little heavy on the cheese sauce but good nonetheless. I had the chicken and waffles, and I would highly recommend that if you’re wanting to get full. The pancakes were a really great option as they are plenty big, and the cheapest regular menu option available. At $7.50 you might think value is questionable but worth the money on that one with the flavor and quality. Overall I’ll say this is a solid 8/10. Could use a few more options on the menu, or to at least include the full menu available. Would visit again.

I met a group of 8 at BLTs for brunch yesterday (Sunday) at 11:30am. While I had a great time with my group, the experience with the restaurant was less than desirable. This restaurant has you order at the counter and when your food is ready they'll bring it out to you. We waited in line for at least 30 minutes to order our food, and while we were in line they announced they were running about 50 minute ticket times to get your food after ordering. We had a large group and there was a Cardinals game that afternoon, so we decided to stick it out. Essentially waiting an hour and a half for your food is absolutely ridiculous. The food was fine, nothing spectacular, but 100% not worth the wait. If your ticket times are that high, you need to stop taking orders/new customers so you can catch up to a reasonable ticket time. Since we were meeting a large group, we chose a table and sat down to wait for the other members of the group to show up since we needed a lot of seats. While we were waiting for some people to show up, an employee made us leave that table and said we need to order first before claiming a table. We did actually have a few people standing in line at that point (and had been in line for at least 10 minutes) - at a more well-functioning restaurant they would've been able to order their food and return to the table by then. Frustrating experience; I will not be returning.

EDIT: In response to the owner calling me a Karen: the wait time I mentioned in my review includes the time standing in line. I listed out the 30 minutes standing in line and the 50 minutes after ordering. I didn't set a timer, but if you add that up it's close to an hour and half. I got there at 11:30 and I didn't get my food until after 1. Even with your announcement of ticket times, 50 minutes after ordering is crazy. Have you ever gone to another restaurant and had to wait that long for food? Your rude response was unnecessary, so thank you for solidifying my decision to never return to your restaurant. I did not choose to visit your restaurant, other members of my group did. We tried to find another restaurant nearby but with the cardinals game other restaurants closer to the stadium would have likely been even more...
