Was there tonight with my fiance around 1AM.
We just moved to Missouri.
I informed the manager that five of the eight times we have gone to Rally's our order was incorrect.
On top of that we always walk up there since it's a couple blocks from our home and whether there is a couple cars and drive through our cars all the way back to the street the way I've never been less than 15 or 20 minutes and sometimes up to 45 minutes.
Only one time when my fiance went up there and ordered for fry lovers Burger with a row of cars in the drive thru was he promptly served in under 5 minutes.
Anyhow as I explained that to the manager he asked me if I had my receipt and I told him no and he went on to say he couldn't help me with correcting my order. And I repeated that five of the eight times that we have come there or order has been incorrect.
He starkly replied with affects the case then maybe you shouldn't come here anymore and slammed the window shut in my face.
For whatever reason the employees there do not wear name tags oh and hair nets or gloves.
The manager is a white male roughly about five-foot-ten with dark brown hair with a cut over the bridge of his nose drives white convertible top car. Which we only know because shortly after we left he followed us back home went down a side street and revedup his engine to try to intimidate us.
This was in response to my fiance stopping and taking photographs of the employees trying to get a photo of the manager since we did not have his name.
In response another employee a middle-aged slightly heavy set black woman open the window as we walked away and told us to get out of there faster or she was going to come out and whoop my ass.
While telling us to never come back the manager had every right to deny the request to have the food replaced without the receipt in fact the manager has the right to deny it even with the receipt it's not the issue.
The issue was the fact that even with the did not request the argument was going on but was very civil and was already short-lived and I had money in my hand ready to order anyways and the manager slammed window shot in my face and respond to the comment of the poor service.
It may have also been because a couple days before that I ordered a banana milkshake and received a vanilla one I called up there around noon the next day and that same manager told me to come in and they would correct it when I was there he had no problem doing that without a receipt.
Now they write this and you're probably assumed we might have been trying to scam them for free food.
Nevertheless still ordered $6.52 and food when I had the replacement shake tonight I also was going to purchase food in addition to the incorrect order fixed.
Given all of that and my experiences at other Rally's which I have done that probably close to a thousand times in my lifetime this was by far the worst experience I've ever had in fast food this is unacceptable and horrible customer service I am not writing this to get anyone in trouble I'm writing this because it was that appalling and such experience should be known to the...
Read moreDon’t bother ordering ahead for pickup, they take FOREVER, neglect the pickup lane, and the food will NOT be prepared ahead of time.
I ordered just fries and a shake, super quick and easy to get ready, and thought it’d be a fast pickup as it gave me an estimated pickup time of 5 minutes later. I wait 5 minutes then drive over, a couple minutes away. Someone gets in the pickup lane ahead of me, and we wait nearly TEN minutes just sitting there before someone finally came to the window for the guy in front of me. Then they disappear for another few minutes before coming out with his order and he drives off. I finally get up to the window, already been waiting in line almost 15 minutes, and I watch the person inside taking order after order after order from the people in the drive thru, ignoring me for several minutes as I’m just trying to pickup my order I placed ahead of time—I was honestly ready to get out of my car and get angry. Another employee finally appears and asks for the name on the pickup order, I say my name, I see her look around at order tickets, find mine, and start preparing the fries and shake, clearly not made ahead of time.
The whole point of ordering ahead is the expectation that the food will be ready or close to ready by the time you get there, so it’s a quick visit. Instead it was an overall 20 minute wait, my food wasn’t made until after I told them my order, and it 100% would have been faster if I just showed up and went through the drive thru because they clearly seem to have an issue with neglecting the pickup lane. Not going to bother with this...
Read moreThe drive thru line was a 15 minute wait. After pulling up to the window to pay for my order it took another 15 minutes. I had a coupon that wouldnt scan into their system. I was asked if I had another coupon to use. I handed the paper with the coupons to the employee working the window so she could look for one to scan. She wasnt able to find one that would work for my order. She handed the paper back and wasnt able to fix the issue. I asked if she had looked on the backside of the paper with all the other coupons, she did not. A manager was called to the front to help but she could not figure out what to do. I looked at the coupons myself and found another that was the same one that i was trying to use. It was printed on the backside. So i handed the paper back to her for the third time. Bingo! She was able to scan it. Dont understand why they couldnt figure out what to do or why they dont have a copy of their promotions. The food was cold but didnt say anything about it. The employee was nice about the whole thing. Rally's needs to do something in their stores. If their going to promote their food then they need to be able to honor...
