Snarf's Sandwiches Skinker — Restaurant in St. Louis

Came in for dinner with my wife and spent a grand total of $42 for two sandwiches, two milkshakes, chips, and a drink. When I got my sandwich I took one bite out of it and didn't like the taste of the meat. I didn't realize their NY steak has a sweet taste to it. So I asked the only employee working (who also happened to make my order) and asked politely if I could get a different sandwich after explaining I didn't like the taste. To which they responded "No. I can't do that. But if you want to BUY ANOTHER ONE, THAT'S OKAY" super glad I spent my money on food I can't even eat to pretty much be told "Sucks to be you, spend more money cause we don't care about our customers that spend almost FIFTY DOLLARS on a TWO PERSON MEAL" Left immediately. This place has gone downhill from the time when I moved here. In the last 2 months I've tried to order twice. The first one I waited an hour and a half after I placed the order before calling them, which is when they told me that they had never had a delivery driver for that night and that I would need to come pick it up. That would be fine if they had ever updated their website or had the sense to call me about it when I ordered, but instead I got my 2 subs 2 hours late and I had to go pick them up at full price. The second time, earlier today, 45 minutes after I placed the order they called to tell me they yet again had no delivery driver and that they had just received my order. They offered to deliver it to me, at full price, in 30 minutes, so a total of an hour and 15 minutes after I ordered it. Snarf's had been fine for the better part of the year that I had been here, but their service has been abysmal lately and I wouldn't recommend them...

We ordered boxed lunches for a meeting at one of our local architect partner's offices. We ordered a day early for the lunches to be delivered at 11:45 sharp, and the meeting time came around with no sandwiches. A frustrated call to them revealed our boxed lunch order was somehow scheduled for 11:45 PM. Classic. They rushed the food to the meeting over 30 minutes late and life goes on.
