Covering cost Vs price gouging . I ordered a pick up order, big yapi burger. This burger does not come with cheese, so I expected to be charged a little extra for cheese (thats covering cost). However, I was not expecting what I heard for the total. When I asked about it I was told I was charged $.60 because I asked her to sprinkle some seasoning on my burger, another $.60 because I asked for a little extra onions, and another $.60 for a topping that is included in the description of the burger on the menue( banana peppers). This is price gouging Out of ALLLL the restaurants there are to choose from, I chose to support them. and this is what I get, charged for salt and pepper. When I got home, the banana peppers were missing, when I call about it, no apologies, she said, I will refund you $.60. In a very "so what" voice and attitude. When I bit into the burger it was rare, even tho I asked for medium rare. Do not eat here or tell any one to eat here. They do not value you as a customer. They do not strive to make sure you enjoy food and service from them. This area is DRIPPING with Mediterranean restaurants, choose one that values your business.

Yapi Mediterranean Subs and Sandwiches is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it gets. During our visit, we indulged in the Yapi Burger and the Gyro, and both were nothing short of spectacular.

The Yapi Burger is a culinary masterpiece. The patty was juicy, seasoned to perfection, and paired with fresh, crisp toppings that elevated every bite. The bun was soft yet sturdy, perfectly holding the burger together without falling apart. The balance of flavors was remarkable, making it one of the best burgers I've had in a long time.

The Gyro was equally impressive. The meat was tender, flavorful, and generously portioned, complemented by a fresh pita that had the perfect texture. The tzatziki sauce added a refreshing tang that tied the whole dish together. Every ingredient tasted fresh and authentic, a testament to the care put into their preparation.

The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. Yapi Mediterranean Subs and Sandwiches truly delivers on both quality and flavor. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty burger or a classic Mediterranean gyro, this place is a must-visit. We'll definitely be...

Yapi's has some of the tastiest Mediterranean food I've had! My sister and I dined in for lunch after checking out MOCRA on SLU's campus just down the road. We Googled "lunch places near me" and came across Yapi's. The woman who took our order (should have asked her name) was very personable, kind, and helped us make informed decisions about our order.

The space was well-decorated and clean. I ordered the Philly Sub with a side of fried pickles. Italian subs are my very favorite sandwich, but this really changed the game. It tasted similarly to an Italian sub, but had melted cheese and sauteed cucumbers. It was rich, savory (exactly what I was looking for), and quite filling. I can't wait to return and order another. The fried pickles were also delicious and reheated well in the air fryer at home. My sister ordered the gyro supreme. It was double or triple what she could eat (as she was warned, haha), but she was happy to have leftovers. She also ordered falafel. We took home more than half of what we ordered and only spent $34 between the both of us. I was very pleased with their prices, I feel like I haven't seen anything priced that low in the city in years- and for such a...

Another Tuesday which means another date night supporting local place. This time it was Yapi. First I would like to apologize for the quality of the photos, lighting wasn’t a friend of mine. First I would like to say this place has one of the biggest portions I’ve seen in a while. We ordered four items and they could’ve literally feed easily four-6 people. 1-loaded fries: bed of fries topped with Buffalo pulled chicken. Nice heat and good flavors. But wasn’t a big fan. 2- veggie sub which was amazing. Honestly it was one of the highlights of the order. The eggplant and mushroom with the blend of the other vegetables is just spot on. 3- gyro quesadilla again size was humongous and flavors were there. 4- the big yapi burger. And when they say big they mean BIG. THAT burger could cover my face. If I would to change something about it, I’d ask for it to be medium. Full of flavors again and well seasoned. You get the feeling of the home made burgers. Of your really hungry Yapi will make you happy.
