I didn't want to give this place even one star but had to in order to get to where I can share my horrible disgusting review and experience with you. My husband and I visited here last night thinking we would eat here because I love Mexican. It was raining hard and we had to park in the back leaving us to walk up the wooden ramp entrance. As soon as we walked in the bathrooms were right there with the small bar area to the left and the hostess stand to the right. It smelled like the bathrooms so bad and was an immediate turn off. We asked for a booth and they sat us in our booth. The table was wet and the guy took napkins from the long table behind us that looked to be pre set up for a large party coming and wiped off our table. First small besides the bathroom was that. Next he asks what we want to drink. We both said water with lemon so again he just reached behind our table to the long table pre set up for a party they may have been expecting and grabbed two waters with lemon off that table and in seconds they were given to us. Next the salsa and chips were also given to us off the table. Then a lady came by with fresh chips and replaced them on the party table with the ones he took off the table to give us. I'm sitting facing this long party table mind you and my husband has his back to the table in the booth. Now not only do they give you salsa they give you a white maybe ranch based dio as well. Here was the biggest red flags to us! How long had these chips and dip been sitting out and then you give us that from the table and bring out fresh to replace what was given to us. Our silverware was also taken off the "party table." We were so grossed out by this time and my husband kept asking where he took the stuff from as he knew but I kept saying that I watched him with my own eyes and then the lady replaced it with fresh chips. We literally had our mouths open with disbelief. We almost approached them about it but decided to just get up and walk out past them hoping that would be enough if a statement. I'm reading alot is decent reviews before I posted this one and Its hard to believe. This place smelled like poop when entering (bathrooms rarely cleaned?) We will not...

I decided on this place for Mother's Day dinner. The place was not busy, only 4 tables occupied. Overall not pleased with anything except son liked the fajitas. The tostada was one tiny little smear of beans, you could still clearly see the tostada. The steak burrito was tough and dry. The rice had no flavor. The meat in the chicken burrito was tough. The chile relleno was good. The salsa verde was so sour it ruined the whole meal. I love salsa verde, but this was way too tart and unpalatable. Beef burrito was dry with no flavor also. We are not picky, we have eaten here before and enjoyed it, which is why we went back. Husband also told server that he wanted ground beef on both combo items, but ordered the tostada (beans) instead of the chalupa (meat) but she should have known the difference as he specifically said beef for both. It does get confusing the two but still she should have listened. She was attentive though except when it was time to pay, I had to walk up and pay the hostess. Even though we can practically walk here, we will not be back.

After a month, I did expect some response, they can respond to the positive, but don't respond to the negative. Just shows how...

My wife and I went to this place for lunch. From the start the Mexican server seemed to have an attitude and really made us feel like we wasn't welcome. Our questions about the food pre-order was met with harsh attitude. Once we ordered, and the food came, my tacos came with some lettuce and a big clump of cheese on top, I asked if they had Cilantro or Pico and he said NO! NOW, what mexican restaurant don't have these items? So, my wife's food came and she was upset because, they to a smaller flour tortilla and put steak in it and called it a burrito it was just folded like a taco the was NOTHING in the burrito but the steak, no lettuce, no rice, NOTHING so, my wife asked a server if this what they called a burrito and she said yes! With a bad attitude! So, the guy comes back over and starts yelling at us for questioning the food , and told to get our and he snatched our food up and told us to get out and don't come back, I guess being black going there you will meet with tensions. We will NEVER patronize these...

Gracias la comida estuvo deliciosa! Thank you, the food was delicious! A beautiful space, with beautiful people and beautifully curated art paying homage to Mexicos culture and delectable cuisine. Las enchiladas de mole eran fantásticas. The mole enchiladas were fantastic. The best mole I've ever had - hands down. You can taste the spices and while it has a tang of sweetness it is not overpowering the important spice notes. Buen provecho!!! The Jalapeño margarita was made fresh, with just the right amount of kick! I could taste the Tajin I'm the salt rim. Felipes added additional jalapeños for those of us with the desire to pack even more of a spice punch! Vegan options, healthy options, the ability to adjust meals due to allergies. I look forward to making this our new neighborhood spot. Hasta pronto!

I loved the chill environment and it was very clean. They brought regular and spicy salsa, both of which were yummy! I got the Fajita Quesadilla and it was pretty good. The cheese combined with all of the other ingredients had a great taste. The rice was a little dry and lackluster in flavor. We also ordered street tacos (Al Pastor), and they were good as well. The portions, especially the amount of meat they give you is very generous, and is totally worth the asking price! Our server was kind, personable with great conversation, and was timely. We are looking forward to coming back and trying some more things on the menu.

Very good sit-down Mexican food. Staff were friendly and attentive. Ordered the Chimichanga, which although was smaller than most local places, was very flavorful. The black beans were a good choice for a side; my meal also came with rice, which was better than most local places. Tortilla chips came with a mild chunky salsa and a house ranch-style dip. The salsa was mild and flavored mostly with peppers, cilantro, and onions. The ranch was very vinegary. All tasted good. All food was served hot without too long of a wait and we were able to come in for lunch and be done within thirty minutes. Will definitely return.
