This location used to be our favorite Wendy's because of it's convenient location. But due to the crappy service, we'll never go back. We went to the nearby Home Depot to pick up some supplies and decided to swing into Wendy's for a delicious Wendy's chicken sandwich and a big burger. When we pulled in it appeared they were closed as there were no cars in the drive thru and it looked dark inside. But I drove around the front and saw a couple of vehicles parked by the front door and could see a group of people inside sitting together, so I continued thru the drive thru to place our order. No one acknowledged we were there. I sat for a minute and finally said hello. I got a response so we placed our order, a Classic Chicken Sandwich, no mayo, a Dave's Big Bacon Classic, no mayo and no ketchup, and a large Frosty. Silence. Then the order taker asked if I could repeat, so I repeated everything. They acknowledged "no mayo, no ketchup" and I heard a chuckle in the background. I was given a total, but the order screen wasn't working, so I simply pulled up to the first window. No one was there. I could see a person or two walking around inside and after sitting at the first window for a minute I pulled up to the second window where I could see someone standing. The window opened and the person inside handed out a little bag and took my debit card. I looked inside the tiny little bag and saw two sandwiches and napkins, then turned to retrieve my debit card. First thing I noticed was no receipt, but we were in a hurry to go home so I didn't give it a second thought. They opened the window again and handed out my wife's Frosty. I said Thank You (got no response) and we drive off. My wife was enjoying her big chocolate Frosty and we didn't pay any attention to the bag contents until we got home about ten minutes later. We were both very hungry after running errands so we sat down the pulled the contents from the bag. Two sandwiches, one wrapped in Wendy's paper and one in Wendy's foil. They both seemed very small for what we ordered. When I unwrapped the sandwiches there were two pitiful chicken sandwiches, slathered with mayo. We've ordered the Classic Chicken sandwich before and it's always been a big fried chicken breast. These were both puny little chicken patties the same as you would normally find on a chicken biscuit. I never received my Dave's Big Bacon Classic. I was angry but not inclined to drive 4 miles back to the Wendy's to complain. I dug into my sandwich and pulled the chicken apart because it appeared to me to be artificial chicken at first. It was crappy. Both of them were. We never put mayo on our sandwiches yet both were drowned in mayo. We were not happy, to say the least. The chicken patties were not even as big as the tiny bun they were on. I don't know who the franchise owner is but I think they should give up this location to someone who cares about the food they serve and who they hire as employees. If I could have given less than one star, I would have. I see by the numerous other one-star reviews that this location seems to have a problem. Wendy's corporate should make a visit to this location and see if they can change how this Wendy's is operated. It's a good location, and in a good part of town. It's a shame the way this owner runs this Wendy's. As a rule I love Wendy's food, but I'll never stop by this...
Read moreThis is the worst Wendy's establishment I've ever experienced. If I could give zero stars I would. Extremely unprofessional. I put in a mobile order and got to the drive thru around 10:20pm. They close at 1:00am. There were 2 cars ahead of me. We waited for quite some time and eventually the 2 cars drove off.
It's my turn at the window and nobody says anything to me. I say hello multiple times and wait. I decide to drive up to the window. I get to the first window and a man points to the second window. I get to the second window and a Hispanic woman, and a Hispanic man with a backwards hat, tattoos, and ear piercings locks eyes with me and laughs and walks around the corner out of sight.
I get out of my car and walk up to the lobby window to see the same two employees at the front counter. Another heavy set, Hispanic woman with glasses and a short pony tail is sitting at table with a few people who were not in uniform. I didn't know at the time that she was the manager. I tried to open the door to the lobby to find that it's closed. Everyone can clearly see me and still they do nothing. I decide to bang on the window and put my phone up to the window so they can see the app showing the order that's already been paid for. The heavy set woman turns to her employees and points to the drive thru window.
I walk around to the drive thru and I can see their order screen with my one order on it and nothing else. They were not busy. Nobody was making food. They were all just standing around. The guy gets to the window with a smirk on his face and I ask what the hell is going on and why is everyone ignoring me? He says his manager is on break so they can't make food. I explain that I work in a fast food restaurant and when the manager is on break the store still runs as it should because the employees are still working. And if my manager is on break but someone needs him he still takes care of business.
I ask for the manager multiple times. She comes to the window and I ask why no one was speaking to me. They keep talking amongst each other in Spanish laughing at the situation so I pull out my phone and start recording. I shouldn't have to do that for my concerns to be taken seriously.
I still got no real answer and asked for my food to be refunded which I don't know if they did or not. It's late so it may not show up in my account until later. All I needed was for someone to speak to me like a human being instead of ignoring me. I could have understood if someone told me that they needed a minute. I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate it if someone was wasting their time. The worst part is I never wanted Wendy's to begin with. I went to Walmart to buy groceries and it just so happens that their power went out and everyone had to leave. I just wanted to hurry up and get home at that point and Wendy's was geographically the nearest, quickest place to get food after that. Or so I thought. Needless to say I will never come to this establishment again. They need to replace their employees...
Read moreThis is not a great Wendy’s. It’s not terrible either but certainly could improve. At the drive thru, the screen that shows what you ordered is not working. So you can’t see the mistake until you get to the window and check what you get, or see the receipt. I say that because my order was wrong. Only slightly but wrong. I ordered a medium choc Frosty but received a small. Since I didn’t receive the large Coke, I addressed that first. After pulling away I checked the receipt to see what size frosty showed on the receipt and it showed a small. Since I rarely buy a frosty I thought it looked small but wanted to see the receipt to be sure. If your wondering why I didn’t complain at the window, I don’t like having others have to wait on me and the young lady at the window had just finished getting onto the other young lady about something she had done wrong. So I pulled away and checked the bag, two sandwiches and cheese fries so I left with the wrong sized frosty. Once I got to sit down to eat, my disappoint grew because the Dave’s single with cheese was barely over warm and the lettuce was wilted. The taste was kind of middle of the road. That’s disappointing because I love Wendy’s taste. So overall, this was Not a Bad experience, just not a...
