We can in on Christmas Day. A hostess greeted us who I’m guessing was the manager that night and seated us by the Big Tv so we could see the game. It took our waitress a long time to come over and even just greet us, mind you there were not many people in the restaurant that night. When she finally came over she barely cracked a smile took out drink order and took another 10 minutes before we got our drinks all We ordered was water and lemons. Once she brought those she asked if we were ready to order and when we inquired about a few menu items her response was “I’m not sure” and “I wouldn’t know!” I ended up ordering the chicken wrap with onion rings and my husband ordered the burger with sweet potato fries. It took 25 minutes to get our food, again not many people were in the restaurant so I’m not sure why it took so long. When our food finally came my husband asked for ketchup and hot sauce. She said she would be right back but again she was taking so long, his food was getting cold so he asked a person at the bar if he could borrow his ketchup. When she came back she rolled her eyes when she noticed her had ketchup. I kindly let her know that my onion rings were cold and I would appreciate if they could make me some new ones. I watched as she gave the bowl of onion rings to the manager and rolled her eyes. The onion rings came out within 4 minutes and when she brought them back I noticed it was the same onion rings I originally had, they had just dropped them in oil again and made them extra brown. I didn’t say anything because if that was what they did the first time I could only imagine what they would do if I sent them back another time. While my wrap was good and my husband burger was good, our waitress and her poor attitude made the whole experience suck. I was really hoping for a great experience since we couldn’t be with family that night. Instead I left upset that the holiday was ruined by someone who didn’t want to be at work that night. Or at least that was the impression she gave us. Poor Custer service was given and needs to be taught to that young lady. Thank you to the manager that night who greeted us with a smile and tried to give us a good table she was truly the only spot...
Read moreCame to bombshells for lunch about an hour and a half after opening. The server was really sweet and attentive, but the kitchen staff just couldn’t get it together. Ordered a few appetizers, and 3 entrees. The first appetizer came out and it was bacon wrapped shrimp instead of the bacon Jalepeno bombers. The first entree came out which was a burger with fries with onion strings, and bacon, added and the burger had a long piece of hair on the top of the cheese on top the burger which we spotted the second it hit the table. The server was really nice about it and brought it back to the kitchen for them to fix. The new burger came out and didn’t have bacon. To add the drinking water tastes like bacon soda and ground water… literally lemons didn’t even help it. The managers on duty were Cynthia and Khali. Khali happened to be passing by so my table asked her if everything was ok in the back because everything just kept coming out wrong. With our concerns and issues that were brought to her attention she never once apologized for the experience, never offered any type of resolve, and never even addressed us until we called for her. When we realized how just disconnected she was we further asked what would or could be done about all of these mishaps because the experience was a poor one and of course you’re serving me contaminated food. She had an attitude and rolled her eyes at us as she walked away and said she would check on it. She came back minutes later and said she would take half of the burger…. (Yeah the same one that came with a side of hair and the other that came missing things). PISS POOR SERVICE, PISS POOR ACCOUNTABILITY, AND A PISS POOR MANAGER. If that’s the type of service the manager is providing when the kitchen isn’t following safety standards and can’t seem to keep up with a restaurant that barley has 4-5 tables, I would suggest replacing her and getting someone who wants to see the restaurant thrive and that’s going to make sure your business is running as it should. Pearland’s location, Katy’s location all better than this one. So, as a consumer DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME. Go to...
Read moreEnded up going here for Super Bowl Sunday because I couldn't find a parking spot at my first choice and because I've been wanting to find out what this place was all about.
First the good stuff. TVs everywhere including one directly at our booth made it easy to see the game. The hostess and waitstaff was great. Of course they were as busy as they could be and we could barely hear each other but they were all working very hard and were very friendly. Food was decent. It was typical bar food but it was better than a lot of the competition that's out there.
Now the bad stuff. Drowning out the commercials during the Super Bowl with painfully loud music was NOT pleasant. I knew the place would be loud because of the event but this was NIGHTCLUB loud and just unnecessary. I've never seen a restaurant do this before and I hope I never see it happen again. I got an appetizer sampler platter and the lack of condiments and sauces is unacceptable. No marina for the fried cheese? No honey mustard for my chicken fingers? No sour cream for my Southwestern eggrolls? I even had to ask for some BBQ sauce to be brought for my chicken fingers. Honestly guys it's not OK to serve finger foods without dipping sauces.
In the end it was an acceptable dining/viewing experience. Not great, not terrible. Not sure if I'd pick them a second time since there is a lot of competition nearby for this...
