I ordered a chicken egg foo young, a fried dish served with white rice, around 12pm to 1pm on Sunday January 13th, 2019. The old lady at the counter asked me if I wanted a regular or combo. I asked what the difference is. She mumbled something, confusing me, making it unclear what the difference is. I commented, "so they are the same thing." She clarified that the combo comes with fried rice and egg roll while the regular does not. I ordered the combo and I told her that I will eat in the restaurant. She asked me if I wanted a receipt. I said no. At that point, she was set on scamming me. She brought the food out. She served me the fried dish with white rice. It looked good at first but when i start eating it, I realized that there's barely any chicken or egg in there with scraps of leftover vegetables. At this point, I realized she's taking advantage of me. I never received the fried rice or egg roll I ordered. When I ask her for fried rice, she said she made a mistake and brought out the fried rice. I waited for the egg roll but she never brought it out. I had to ask for an egg roll ten minutes later and then wait an additional ten minutes to get it. She handed over the egg roll saying "Here you go, sir," all of a sudden, changing her attitude. I could read the emotions in her face. It was a mix of guilt and a changed attitude. The old lady at the counter tries to scam people who look weak, selfless, or easy to scam. I was disgusted at the scam she was trying to pull off. I did not finish the meal and left the place. According to the menu online, this meal costs around $3.90 to $5.00. The lady at the counter charged me $9.40.

Read moreI ordered a large beef and broc, a large general sow, and three egg rolls. The egg rolls were way over cooked and hard like a rock. The portion size was a joke. Both of my large were small orders and I know for sure because I ordered there many times before at lunch, so I know the size and the price. $52 for this order of garbage over cooked fat and breading. Then to make it worse they messed my general sow order up by giving me broccolis with it rather than pork fried rice. Then the woman tells me on the phone that you have to order the combination to get the pork fried rice. Who the hell asked for broccolis I asked her. My general sow chicken was clumps of overcooked fatty breading with a tiny piece of chicken inside. I ate maybe 4 pieces of the chicken out of 10 or so pieces. Total waste of money. I'm telling you these people have taken greed to a new level. NEVER ORDER FROM THEM. You have been WARNED. They plain...
Read moreI don't normally go out of my way to leave reviews but when you get service like this, it can't be helped. This is by far the highest quality of customer service you can receive in a Chinese restaurant, or any take out for that matter.
I live alone in Stamford and whenever i get homesick for NY, I go to the Panda garden. Their warmth makes you feel like home. They'll remember your name and what you eat, what you drive and what you do. This type of personalized service is almost impossible to find nowadays, let alone at a Chinese take-out.
Oh and the food? I've never left anything unfinished. Good quality ingredients. Always fresh, made to satisfy. If you like American-Chinese food, stop searching and...
