As someone who lived in China for over 20 years, I often miss the unique menu options at Chinese KFCs, which differ quite a bit from those in the US. So, I was excited to find this place on Google and planned a visit.
My wife and I ordered the couple's combo set for $24 plus tax and tip, which included two burgers, two hot wings, two "Orleans" roasted wings, and a bag of popcorn chicken. We also ordered a bag of fries for our two-year-old for an additional $6.
I was pleased to find that the food tasted very close to what I remember from Chinese KFCs. The chicken was well-seasoned, though a bit dry inside—I enjoyed it, but my wife prefers it juicier. The popcorn chicken was crispy, though I think it could use a bit more salt and pepper.
The fries also tasted like I remembered. A little backstory: KFC fries in China haven’t changed much, so they tend to get soggy quickly. In contrast, KFC fries in the US improved after 2018, so there’s a difference.
Overall, I enjoyed the food and look forward to coming back to try more items...
Read moreTheir service is very poor. They don’t come out to listen to customers, they remain inside the kitchen and there is a kiosk for the order through which they take orders. But if we want to make any special changes in order such as if someone is allergic to something and don’t want to add that thing in sandwich that person will have to call loud to please come out and consider these changes in order because there machine doesn’t do this. In addition, if you forgot to add water or soda while ordering on kiosk you have to do call loud again to make these changes. They take very long to make the food ready at least 30-40 mins after ordering the food. I always mention in order that its gonna be dine in but they always pack the food for to go. I ordered sandwiches and popcorn, sandwiches were good in taste but their popcorn was undercooked and giving smell of raw chicken and there was a lot of oregano that you can smell from distance. Very...
Read moreI’ve tried this place twice, once dining in and once for takeout. The dine in experience was definitely better. The first time I had the chicken sandwich which I really enjoyed (unfortunately I don’t have any pictures). The second time I ordered takeout and tried the chicken wrap, two pieces of fried chicken, and popcorn chicken. Overall everything was okay but the fried chicken pieces were extremely oily and looked very dark almost as if they had been fried multiple times (except for the red spots from the spicy seasoning: I ordered them spicy and they definitely delivered, which I appreciated). Bonus points for...
