Target — Local services in State College

Customer service is very poor. Stalking team very poor. Now as I was shopping today I see the up&up brand targets off brand toilet paper is $9.89 for 18 roll pack what I thought was a good deal was not I get to the register I’m checking out and I ring up the toilet paper it comes up $12.99 so I said to the guy at the register that that price is not correct that I have a picture showing 10 + 18 packs of up&up toilet paper that’s labeled $9.89. He turned looked at my phone looked at me n said I’ll let the manger know it’s stocked wrong. So I said ok well I’m not paying $12.99 for something that shelf prices $9.89 he said I’ll let the manger know it’s stocked wrong I then asked to talk to a manger because again this is not my problem this is the stores no all of a sudden there was no manger there. Needless to say I’ll be driving to Walmart from now on cause atleast if they stalk something wrong the give u the shelve price. Because again...

Get ready to visit the most adorable little Target! I thought it was so cute when I first visited!

This target is very clean and modern inside. The fact that it's downtown is amazing! All the staff members I've interacted with were very friendly. The prices were okay for food and kind of expensive for almost everything else.

Expect check out to be annoying if you come when the store isn't empty. When I've been there, there has been ONE staff member checking people out AND dealing with the awful self checkout machines. Understaffing is a real issue at many places here in State College.

The self checkout machines are lame, so you may need staff member assistance anyway. Get ready for a 5 minute wait just to remove an item.

Good Target overall, it just needs hire more...

If you’re just going for clothes, candy, or toiletries this place is great. However, if you want actual produce or groceries, I highly recommend just taking the trip to Aldi or Walmart. I have seen expired yogurt and other perishable goods on the shelves several times, and any time I have ever gotten milk from here, it has spoiled prematurely. Not to mention their lunch meat usually expires within a week of me purchasing it, sometimes even faster than that. Save your money for groceries and go somewhere cheaper that properly stores their...
