Allen Street Pizza — Restaurant in State College

Absolutely dreadful. We stopped at Allen Street Pizza for dinner on New Year’s eve, and decided to order what was SUPPOSED to be barbecue chicken pizza, and buffalo chicken pizza. When we first indulged in this, what seemed to be mediocre pizza, we discovered it was much less than mediocre, it was awful. My husband and I both agreed the “chicken” tasted a little funny. Upon inspection, we realized that it was dry and had a pinking around the outside like pork does. We were not eating chicken, we were eating pork… at least I hope we were. When asking the employee about what was in the pizza, he doubled down and said it was chicken. So not only did we get food poisoning from this disgusting, meaningless trip, we also got lied to.
