The wings I would give a 3.5-4 out of five. However, the absolutely horrible service from the staff leaves me no choice but to rate them 1 star. In particular, I had an atrocious experience with a worker known as Misty. I ordered wings on Uber Eats at 7 P.M. my order said it would be delivered at 7:50. Being a busy night, I wasn't concerned when my wings didn't arrive. At 8:30, I called, just to make sure they hadn't been delivered to the wrong place. Misty proceeded to tell me that the order was in their system but that nobody had made the order (no explanation why). She then told me that she would have them sent out in an hour. The time is now around 10 and I still do not have said order. Keep in mind it was only a dozen wings not a catered event. I called again, and this time she told me that my order didn't get made on uber eats (which I already paid for). She then offered me a "great employee deal" in which I could buy more wings for $19. I already paid $27 for my order to be delivered at 10. Instead of allowing the customer to be right (maybe everyone hasn't heard that before?) and making the wings (at very little cost) she tried to tell me that I was wrong about my order and that Wings Over has nothing to do with Uber Eats. THEN DON'T HAVE YOUR BUSINESS AS AN OPTION. After the employee became very rude over the phone and continued to not be helpful, I offered to come in and show my phone which still showed the uber eats driver's location and my receipt. When I got to the store she immediately had an attitude and when I showed her the receipt she just said "This is Uber Eats fault." While it might be, you are the business selling the food, and when a customer has a problem with YOUR business, you should do everything to fix that.
While Wings over has decent wings, they aren't special, they just happen to be one of the only sellers in the area. For much better food and service, go to champs son atherton or allen street. For wings over, I genuinely hope the upper levels of management take a minute to look over the people they staff. When you guys mess up, even if it wasn't your fault. Just tell the customer sorry. It goes a long way. Will be back in a few months hopefully after some...
Read moreNot sure what happened to this place. Partnered with them for my company for events and had a great time but I don’t think that we will be using them again.
I tried to place an order online, after 20 minutes of trying to get it to work, I figured that I’d just go in and order.
I go in to order, the cashier then tells me that they are only taking online orders. I tell him my issue, saying that it’s not letting me pay or checkout online. He just tells me to try again and goes back to the kitchen.
I attempt to order at a different location and that one works, so I figure it must be something with this location.
After about 8 or so minutes, the cashier comes back out and I let him know that it works for a different location and not this one.
He rolled his eyes and sighed and just said “come on” gesturing to the register that he’ll finally take my order.
I told him that it’s fine and not to worry about it.
He then sighed again and said “come on” even louder.
It just seems as if this location, or at least the shift that was working, did not want to deal with anyone and it is only going to push...
Read moreMy experience with Wayne at the Wings Over Happy Valley State College location has been nothing short of perfect and everything you'd expect. The original story is that I showed up and stated my first name and my last initial and he gave me an order, but when I got back to my place only about 5 minutes up the road it was not the food I ordered. Wayne was already working on calling me before I even noticed, apparently there was someone else with the exact same name as me that day, crazy! Wayne made sure to make things right in a quick and professional manner, and he has been the reason I continue to come back. Even after many visits since the incident, he has greeted me with a smile and has thanked me for giving the location another chance. We've actually become familiar enough that I don't even have to state my name anymore, he just knows. Whatever Wayne is making isn't enough, and if he isn't a manager already, he should be. Great employee with a...
