Good Day Cafe — Restaurant in State College

Unfortunately Good Day Cafe turned my day into a not-so-good day. I got there fifteen minutes before closing time and ordered a cookie and a hot mocha to go, and as I was waiting on the other side of the room, I could hear that they decided to train their new employee to make what sounded like his very first coffee ever, and have that be mine. The employee supervising this did not bother watching the new guy as he was steaming the milk for the coffee, and then when the milk over-steamed, he said "Oh it's fine, it just does that when you steam it for too long". They then proceeded to give me this coffee.

I had long since realized the money and tip that I paid for that coffee had gone to waste, but what really made everything worse, was that after I walked to my car and very, very carefully sipped the mocha, it immediately burned my entire mouth and tongue.

Please train your employees to make coffee after hours. I don't think...

Started our day off at this lovely cafe, and had a few (delicious!) breakfast sandwiches, and the best cold brew I've had in a while, (get the growler, it's so good). The staff was so nice and happy and we immediately started our day off well. We were on a road trip from state college to Indianapolis. About 3 hours later, I realized in a panic that I had left my purse. Not only did someone turn it in, but the staff stayed a little extra for a friend to pick it up, and we turned around to retrieve it. They saved my day, and my week, and to be quite honest, probably my month, and I am so incredibly thankful to the staff and the patrons, for keeping...

We waited in line for 20 minutes for lunch only to find out once we got to the counter to order our lunch that ALL lunch sandwiches were gone and if we wanted something to eat pick out one of the remaining pastries. We came for lunch, not a pastry and coffee. My wife has 1 hout for lunch, so now we have less than 30 minutes to go somewhere else to get lunch.

We went to Subway, I highly recommend them!

All the Good Cafe needed to do was put a sign on the door that all sandwiches are gone for the day and we would have left and gone elsewhere to return here another day. Now, I don't believe I'll be back to try them,...
