During my visit, I purchased two boxes of donuts and asked the employee if the donuts were hot. She assured me they were fresh and stated yes, they were hot . However, upon leaving the establishment, I realized both boxes were extremely cold. I returned to the store to address this, and while the manager was helpful, the employee interjected in a hostile and condescending manner. She began to argue with my passenger about whether the donuts were fresh or hot, raising her voice and creating a tense, confrontational, and uncomfortable situation for all.
Her behavior escalated further—she became loud and disrespectful, making it difficult for me to communicate with the manager. When the manager passed me the refund receipt, the employee slammed the sliding door with unnecessary force, displaying clear anger and frustration. Not only did she do it once, but twice. I noticed the manager had to detain the employee Danielle due to her hostile behavior.
As a retired veteran with 21 years of food service experience and a NRA ServeSafe Proctor and Instructor, I deeply value professionalism and courteous customer service. Unfortunately, her actions were not only unprofessional but also activated my PTSD, leaving my nerves completely shaken. It was especially concerning to see her behavior directed toward both a customer and her manager.
I appreciate that the manager handled the refund promptly and professionally. However, the employee’s actions were disruptive and unacceptable, reflecting poorly on the high standards I know Krispy Kreme upholds. However, the manager never apologized or addressed the concern directly.
This happens to be the most unprofessional behavior I ever...
Read more9-10 times when I order off of door dash or online the donuts are complete garbage. They claim they're always fresh however continue to provide people who get their food delivered with stale, poorly handled items. These donuts look and feel like they're two days old and they rarely package the food correctly. The boxes are supposed to be sealed... I kept giving them chances in hopes it was just bad luck however it isnt . I have received more stale and poorly handled food than fresh. They're also out of most of the items they advertise. They're items are already over priced but I undestand with how prices went up on everything else as well HOWEVER people who order delivery end up paying more then just ordering in store yet they give the people who pay even more uneditbal food. My sincerest advice is if you want donuts from them, go in person because they clearly have the mindset that if they dont have to worry about you complaining to them in person, they could care less about the horrible service they provide. I spent almost $60 bucks for donuts that will be going in the trash. And they call this chocolate glazed?... there's hardly any chocolate. Im done...
Read moreI went there trying to get what my mother-in-law requested for her birthday: a dozen chocolate-covered, cream-filled donuts. I go to the ordering screen and say "hi, id like a dozen chocolate-glazed, cream-filled" and was cut off after I said chocolate-glazed and was told that they're out of those before I finished ordering... So I called my husband to ask what we should get instead. I pulled back up to the speaker and say "okay, I'll have a dozen, half a dozen glazed and the other half cream-filled glazed" and the lady said "we only have chocolate-covered cream-filled" and I was baffled.... But immediately said "oh, well I just want a dozen of those." Long story short, I didn't open the box because I paid SEVENTEEN DOLLARS and only got a dozen regular glazed. I didn't check because, in a million years, I'd never imagine that Krispy Kreme would charge $17 for a dozen glazed donuts. My receipt was correct: I was rung up for just a dozen glazed and they do, in fact, cost $17. Absolutely insane, the price, the service, and the...
