Wing Maxx — Restaurant in Statesboro

Tonight I stopped a wingmax to get dinner for my family ….I reviewed the menus and noticed that they had buy on get one free wings on tonight (Wednesday) . I ordered 20 traditional wings and was supposed to get 20 free according to the signage on the menu. The cashier at the window stated that my total was almost 38.00 dollars. I asked if the price was correct she stated that it should read by one get one half off …..I advised her that the sign says you bogo free and asked to speak with manager so that the price could be corrected to reflect what is advertised on the drive thru menu. The manger said that she was running the shift but didn’t have the authority to override price . I am really frustrated with this experience ….the restaurant was really busy and drive thru was backed up because I was trying to get a resolution to my problem. I have eaten at this location several times but not on Wednesday ,and I have never had a problem before , but after tonight I will not spend my money at this location anymore because they way I was treaded was very embarrassing. I felt as if I was asking for something that was wrong when I was simply asking the manager and cashier to honor what is advertised on the menu. I have worked in management and it is my job to ensure that the customer has an outstanding experience every visit …..I am very disappointed with my experience here at the statesboro...

Went to Wing Max at 9:45 last night thinking they were open later than 10:00 on Friday night. I pulled in behind two cars in line to order. I finally got to the order spot and although they had taken the two cars in front of me she told me “We’re closed” I asked her why she took both cars in front of me but not me the only person left in line and she said “because it’s 10:00.” I told her I’d been sitting there for 15 minutes but got no response. I rarely go to any eating establishment when they’re closing. I’ve worked in the restaurant business and I don’t like running in when they’re trying to close. But she could have treated me a thousand different ways and chose to be rude. I eat at Wings Maxx regularly. I have even tipped them. I would really like to say I’d never go back but I know that I will. They have the best chicken fingers with home made Mac and cheese. No one else compares in my opinion so I’m just going to complain about it. Hopefully that person will be a little more considerate going forward. I wasn’t mad at being told they were closed. I was annoyed that I’d waited 15 minutes to get that response. It’s not what you say it’s how you say it. They usually have excellent customer service. If I could give negative stars I would. Went there for the first time and it will be the last time. I don't know if you can call what they sell chicken wings. My God they look more like pigeon wings. I place an order of 50. My daughter had friends over so I was like 50 wings should do the job. Here I am going thru the drive thru and they hand me 3 small white Styrofoam containers.
