Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Statesville

This is one of the worst experiences I have ever seen or had at a Jersey Mike’s. The staff have an attitude with each other, they are cussing loud enough for the whole store to hear them from the back, the whole counter and grill are nasty and not being wiped off even after smearing mayo all over the dressing board. You have to tell the stuff the same thing multiple times what you want and they still do not listen, and they make nasty faces at you the whole time. Myself and 4 people who came in 10-15 minutes after me waited over 30 minutes for them to make bacon and cut onions so they could top our subs. I was the only one in the store for 15 minutes and they didn’t bother to start looking at what needed stocked before that. They gave out the wrong sandwiches 4 times (they kept trying to just had me one even after being told three times that’s not what I order).

The drink station was covered in trash and the tables all needed wiped off.

I find this all very sad for 6:35 to 7:15 in the even with a four man shift. As someone who was a store manager for a very busy Jersey Mike’s located at the beach for years, I was even more sad to see the staff are poorly trained on how to care for the store, the customers, and how to do things the “Jersey Mike’s way.”

I hope this is not how this store is at all times because this was just bad. Next time I come back to visit family all try this location again.

• Update August 2 2023 After no response for several weeks get a call today. From a director who did not even look to see what the problem was before even calling then was to sit there and make excuses for the owner not addressing this issue. Food was horrible clearly stats why in the review **

So now its been several weeks later and contacted corparte office on 2 occasions and no reply from them or the owner for the unexcepable food you sold me. It shows how much the owner and the corparte office actually cares I will not ever go back to any jersey mikes. Shame on the owner for not doing the right thing and has no integrity for what he owns or is selling

***Update since the owner or management odviously does not care about its customers even enough to reply will no longer be going to jersey mikes and would not recommend going here to anyone else also. Very unprofessional for the prices that are charged. * I just contacted the corporate office since this issue has not even been addressed *

Glad I used my rewards to get a free sub today at 530pm had to wait for the sandwich even tho it should of been done was the most disgusting sandwich I've ever had bread was falling apart and literally soggy. I will not be going back to this location. Threw sandwich out it...

Terrible service, this was today August 26 at 4:30 pm I ordered a veggie sub and the guy begans to slice my cheese with meat all over the slicer I politely asked could he clean the slicer and slice my cheese again because it had meat all over the cheese he got upset and cleaned the slicer so he began to slice my cheese and guess what he done next, with his hands while slicing my cheese he killed a fly that was flying around while fixing my sandwiches I couldn’t believe it with the glove he had on did not change it or anything just kept fixing sandwiches and swatting flies with the his hand with that same glove on and wet rag he used to clean the cheese slicer I couldn’t believe what I had seen my husband and I we said at that point we will never eat at that Jersey Mike again and I am thinking about getting a health inspector there to look around because what we seen was disgusting never again we threw our food away we did not eat it money lost but At least I didn’t get sick from food poisoning.
