I don't often rate so low, but customers should avoid this Wendy's. I will explain our experience. Saturday evening, place looked outwardly not very busy at all, a few cars at the drive thru but otherwise empty (6:30 PM). Four staff in the restaurant serving approximately four maybe five individuals including ourselves at the time. My wife and I clearly explained to the person serving us that my wife was cealiac (allergic to gluten). He did not seem to have any understanding at all about gluten allergies. We attempted to explain, by proving an example - no bun with a burger. He stepped away and appeared to look at a chart posted on the wall behind his POS terminal (didn't help much). We ordered a regular meal for myself (burger fries shake), and my wife ordered a Romain/apple salad, burger with NO bun, and a baked potato with sour cream (all guaranteed on Wendy's website as GF). Service took an exceptionally long time. Person assisting us explained they were understaffed, reason for delay (he apologized a couple times to other patrons). While waiting, our waiter explained they had no baked potatoes. There are limited GF options to substitute so we opted for nothing as a replacement. When I asked for a refund of the baked potato cost ($3.99 plus), he explained it is store policy to not issue refunds?? I had tipped him in cash ($35) on paying originally so I figured well you get a bigger tip, but thought this was very strange Policy. We walked back to our room, opened my wife's wrapper and there is the burger with a bun. With limited food as it was, my wife walked back to the restaurant to get a replacement burger, which she eventually got (with more apologies about how busy they were). I have never had a had experience at Wendy's and don't normally review them, but writing this to ensure if you are considering this one, avoid it. Especially if you have any...
Read moreUnfortunately, I made a terrible decision to visit this place. My wife and me went to the drive thru on Sunday December 17 around 6pm. We placed our order and when we went to get our order they gave us our drinks and then our food they never said a word. I ordered a taco salad and when I got home I realized they had not included my chili that came with it. I called and the manager was nice and told me to come back and get my chili. I went inside and there was a young guy and the front register. I told him what had happened and there happened to be a premade cup of chili on the counter. He picks it up and walks to the back. He comes back 2 mins later and told him I didn’t want that one to please give me another. He says oh you wanted two! No I tell him! I just don’t want the one you took to the back! He prepares another cup and instead of putting it in a bag he puts a lid on it and takes that cup of chili into the back. I yelled for him to stop but he keeps walking to the back of the kitchen. I got the attention of the fry guy and the man who running the drive also came over. I told them this guy keeps Taking my chili into the back of the store and he quickly makes me a cup. The young guy comes back and tries to give me the chili , I told that it was ok and your coworkers had already taken care of it. He immediately tells them I was supposed to get a small cup and they had given me a large one. I’m pretty sure this employee was up to no good. I have no way to prove what he was trying to do to my food but I hope he quits food service soon. I wish I had some type of proof so I could press charges against this guy! No way will I go back to...
Read moreMy husband and I decided to try their brand new location. Walked in and noticed about 4 employees in the front, looked at us several times, but no one greeted us. Stood up front at the register for a good 5-10 minutes with no acknowledgement of our presence. Finally a young lady, with zero personality, asked us "dine-in or carry-out?". No apologies for being slow to take our order! My husband told her his order, then I asked for a taco salad. I was told "can't have that, we ain't got chili". I've never known a single Wendy's to not have chili!! Instead of saying "I'm sorry" or offering me a different type of salad, she just stares at me until I hurry up to make up my mind of what else I would want to order, like I'm an inconvenience to her!! My husband and I finally order and get our drink cups, but guess what, the fancy drink machine is pretty much out of every type of zero sugar or diet drink, as this is what we drink since we're diabetics. My husband did ask an employee if they had diet Dr. Pepper in the back and they were able to fill it for him! Although there were only 2 other tables occupied at the time we were there, we had to search around for a clean table. Food and trash left there from other customers. Although the customers should have more decency than to leave their trash for someone else to pick up, employees should be tuned to the cleanliness of the store. It's a representation of themselves and their commitment to their job! From the unwelcoming entrance to the displeasing lack of attention to a brand new building, we will...
