Burbank Food & Liquor — Restaurant in Stickney Township

I’ve been going to this place for a couple months now I didn’t have any issues I literally would go at least three times a day to the specific store but today and a few times before I’ve noticed the men that are at the cash register are very disrespectful so I decided not to come anymore I’m just going to warn anybody that’s not of the race of this particular business What I have discovered is that they’re very prejudiced towards Black people if you’re a person of color do not go your money is it want it there

Oh yeah and I’m just heading back in what one of the customer said in the comments I can vouch for them I bought weed from one of their Employees the white boy short fat yes him So you guys have lost a customer a loyal...

I don’t usually post or respond to people’s negative remarks but as a worker in a service industry I feel the need to give my two cents. In today’s economy things are hard for us in the service industry we mostly rely on tips and most places that I frequent include gratuity on bills of certain amount or parties of a certain size. As for the establishment I can honestly say this place is amazing .The carne en su jugo is the best I’ve had and the staff is welcoming and very friendly. As for the carnitas I try to get them when I can because those are always selling out. I highly recommend this place specially if you are looking for a spot to enjoy with your family...

The smell of the store is usually repulsive as if they have dead animals in the back. The main thing that really seems odd is the cashier will ask "do you want a bag" then give a box. Why is a box not optional? I can see if I bought several bottles of alcohol. But two bottles of water and 2 packs of cigarettes. Come on who is in charge of ordering bags. Further if you don't have bags why ask "do you want a bag". Especially when it is raining outside. Especially if you are traveling because of work and staying at a nearby hotel that is walking distance. Is this even real life these days....
