I very rarely give a 5 star rating in my opinion 5 stars means above and beyond just being a good experience but an excellEnt or especially above average. And this one is no different. I doubt it helps but including an individuals name when writing a review should give recognition or put pressure on a company to reprimand. But I'm in no way connected to this person never met her in my life and she was a bit confused when I asked her name and how to spell it because I've never witnessed a single person handle such a crowd and rush completely by herself. NAE was her name. Idk if she was a manager but if not she should be. She was taking orders making drinks bagging her orders working drive through window taking orders and taking orders on the telephone. One of her employees I noticed at his car and I could see her continue to enter the kitchen. Soi can only assume she was fillng in for his absence or maybe she was truly the only person inside that store. Cars wrapped the building and I almost didn't get in the line but I was so glad I did. The cars did not sit long and even tho I had a huge order I was shocked to see her begin putting food in bags as soon as she handed me my change. Unless than 10 minutes I had watched more than 10 cars wrapped around all 4 sides of the building and out to the driveway entrance get out faster than other places can even handle 3 or 4 vehicles. If we had just one NAE in every business around fast food would be a different lifestyle and a pleasurable and enjoyable experience everytime. She not only accurately smoothly and efficiently made more customers huge orders than I've ever seen in such short time single handedly remember her kitchen man is outside... But the food was amazingly on point and well prepared. I can only assume she must have pre fried the fish chicken and other fried items because how could she 1at a time right? But I honestly don't know and the food was also surprisingly fresh so it's not like she had it sitting in a warmer. I suppose she must have fried a certain amount idk I guess 100 filets or something I'm not sure but she was very impressive and I'm not an easy test. I try to be fair and accurate and am rarely as impressed as I was by this day. I've been here many many times over time and have always gotten great food but sometimes the drive through is a long wait especially when it's so full I've pulled off before ordering in the past but they usually don't have the inside open anymore so it's drive through or nothing. Thank you NAE. Thats why I asked how to spell your name. It's nice to see some people do still care in your situation most would not perform in such giving more effort instead of less. Read moreThis was the worst experience EVER. If I could give a NEGATIVE 5 I would. Attitude starts at the top and I owned this restaurant, the first thing that I would do is fire the night staff. As a Store Manager myself I was so appalled at the way that I was treated at this establishment. I pulled up at the drive thru at 7:40 and sat there for 15 minutes, when I got to order at 7:54, the young lady said " We're Closed." So I asked her what time did they close and her response was NOW. So I asked again what time did they close and again I was told "RIGHT NOW". So I asked for the Manager who came on and again stated that they have been closing at early at 8pm for the last 2 weeks and I explained to her that it was NOT 8pm yet and I had been in line for about 20 minutes. She turned off the headset while I was talking. Needless to say at a Store Manager, first I would never allow ANY of my employees to address any customer that way, because customers is what pays the bills and salaries. Next ALL of our shops are short staffed, some day running with 1 person in the front and 1 person in the shop and we don't close early nor do we turn customers away especially if they have been waiting. And food for thoughts, we were about to order $40 worth of food and there was another car behind us which had 3 people in it. So let's say that they would have order $30 worth of food, that is $70 and lets multiple that by 30 days, that is $2,100 a month that your staff is turning away. Again attitude starts at the top and the leadership that I experienced was very SUBPAR. Needless to say I will NEVER spend another penny in this restaurant. But truthfully business is about taking care of the customers and dollars and cents, and I can truly tell you that if this is how your staff treats your customers on a daily basis just in the small example that I gave earlier, your restaurant is losing a minimal of at least $25,000 a year. Not to mention that this location is already closing 2 hours early. NEGATIVE 5 IS MY REVIEW FOR THIS LOCATION. TAKE YOUR MONEY...
Read moreWaited 30 minutes while three people that ordered after me received their food before me. I only ordered two meals and some clam strips. After I said something, the manager pieced my order together so I checked every box. Two of my three boxes were cold like they had been sitting in the window for some time. My fish looked like I've never seen at Captain D's. The manager said it was cracklins stuck to it??? Looked more like this fish had herpes. The crab shell looked like it had been sat on by the Jolly Green Giant and my fried shrimp were white, as if they weren't even put in the fryer. The manager said the shrimp were on a timer and there's no way they were under cooked. I asked for my money back and left that garbage on the counter. Oh, and speaking of garbage, theirs was overflowing. I still haven't received my money back on my card. I guess I'll have to take this void receipt back up there and see what happens. I'll never visit this location for food again. I hope you don't either. Terrible staff, a manager full of excuses with no solutions, plus garbage food is what you may received from Stockbridge Captain D's. If I worked for corporate, I would have them shut down before they ruin Captain D's image everywhere. As a matter of fact, I may just call corporate and tell them about my experience.
UPDATE... I reached out to guest services and received no reply. I guess they care about how their businesses are run as little as the people running them. The D in Captain D's must stand for Deadbeat, because they act just like some of these Dads out here that don't care about...
