Pinehurst Catering & Events Facility — Restaurant in Stockbridge

I traveled from Chicago, IL to Stockbridge, GA for my cousin's blessed wedding on Saturday, May 31st at Pinehurst Catering & Events Facility. It was a magical day for all of us. Spirits were lively. I cried, laughed, clapped, giggled, hugged, & danced. It was a safe space to let your emotions fly. . We were all truly grateful that the owners made this facility available on such short notice. Thank you for accommodating this beautiful event. . This venue is spacious & flexible. There is ample parking available. There are 3 immaculately clean washrooms. Dressing rooms were provided for the bridal participants and groomsmen. The grounds are clean and tapered. I throughly enjoyed the outside bar on the deck. There is a full kitchen available if desired. . The bride provided her own decorator, caterer, photographers, Dj, music, and speakers. Every detail was perfect. . There was an occurrence which I felt was extremely inappropriate. The owner showed up at the venue at exactly 9pm, with a cleaning crew. They began immediately stacking the chairs onto the tables, and the cleaning staff started vacuuming while the guests were still sitting, eating, dancing , and toasting. 12-21-19 - Church Christmas party here. Great location, and knew the area. Reminded me of other establishments that use a house to provide culinary opportunities. Nice setup, pictures, dance floor, bathrooms, and areas for eating in and outdoors. Nice accommodations for small and large groups. Had buffet style fish (fried tilapia), grilled chicken, vegetables, dessert, and drink setups. The crew passed out appetizers (egg rolls, small cheese tacos, and pigs in a blanket), while we waited for the main courses to be served. The minor food issues is the meats could have been seasoned, the small cheesecake sample may have been out too long, and the tea / lemonade could've been sweeter). I held my 50th Birthday Party at this facility and the owner Lynda and her staff did not disappoint. This venue was well suited for my 80 guests. It was beautifully decorated inside. The food was plentiful and amazingly tasty and the guests raved about the peach punch! The staff was very professional and provided awesome customer service! I enjoyed working with Lynda who is very personable and flexible. I only have one request.......with such a beautiful venue it would be even more beautiful if there were flowers in the front yard.
