It was a day like any other. I had been dragging through my morning after a late night and early wake-up. Before I knew it, I was already late to get to class. Foregoing breakfast, I rushed to school just in time for class. As the adrenaline wore off, an all too familiar feeling began to assert itself... My stomach was angry and was voicing its growing concern. Class finished and I chose to wait until after my second class had finished to feed the proverbial beast. I had no idea what to eat... Everything looks better in the eyes of a hungry man. I had just passed 675 heading into stockbridge when I was overcome by a smell. My stomach immediately bid me to follow it. Now I was a man on a mission, truly one of mind and body. I followed that heavenly smell to it's source and found Zaxby's. In that bleak and cloudy day, the sky opened up just to shine a ray of pure sunlight down upon my destination, further emphasizing that my mission is devine in origin. I ordered my good and drink and it was like mana from god. It was exactly what I needed and filled me very well. However, the food was so good that the fleeting happiness was very soon replaced with sadness. For you see, as all good things must come to an end, so too did my meal. Before I was even aware of it, the good was gone and only the memory of what was remained. I will be returning soon to relive this experience. I arrived to this Zaxby’s at 7:00 pm. When I walked inside there were at least 5 other people standing around waiting. I waited in the line for 15 minutes before the first order was called. I finally ordered at 7:20, all I ordered was two kickin chicken sandwich meals, and one wings and things. This order had no changes to the meal, so it should have been made quick. I finally received my food at 7:45. The food had barely any sauce on it, and it was cold. When I got my food I asked for a knife and some ketchup, I waited about another 10 minutes and no one ever gave me the knife or ketchup. The lack of care and customer priority is beyond ridiculous. As someone who defends restaurants who take time to cook the food so it is fresh, I have no compassion for this restaurant. I understand it takes time to cook food, but if you’re going to take forever at least give me food that has sauce on it and make sure the food is hot. Also this restaurant had no ice, and was very unhappy when we “bothered” them and asked them to get us some ice. I’m highly disappointed and I want to see this restaurant take priority in their customers, and not making sure they had their break food ready.
