Placed A curbside order it stated that it would be ready at 9:40am-9:45am. I got there between the designated time 9:42 to be exact waited over 15 minutes. No one had brought my order so then I called the store, before I got transferred to the store I had to speak to a representative, so once she transferred me, it rang and hung up. So I called again and advise the representative that it rang and hung up, so this time she placed me on a hold and she called directly. She got back on the line and stated that she tried three times and it kept hanging up. She then advise me that there’s nothing that she could do on her end that I would have to get out. So at this point I had to get out, so THERE WAS A REASON WHY I PLACED A CURBSIDE ORDER AND WHY IT WAS AN INCONVENIENCE AS TO WHY I HAD TO GET OUT. Once I got out the manager Ybarra asked me “for 1” I said no I have a curbside order and that I had been waiting over 15minutes he looks at me and says ok then I respond ok, he then gets my order as I tell him how long it had been waiting he said as long as it said it was ready. By this time I had asked if he was the manager he responded yes. I then told him if he could remake the order as it was there for over 15 minutes. He says that it’s warm he then opens the containers and says look it’s still warm, I asked him again to remake the order as it was there for more than 15 minutes, at this time he says alright. His responses were very unprofessional and he looked at me like if I was dumb is how I felt. He tells his cooks to remake it he comes back and tells me that they would bring it out to me. A few minutes later his waitresses tell him things and say that curbside is not priority and he comes back and tells me that it would be 20 minutes a few minutes after he told me that they would bring it out to me. Very disappointing as I have worked in customer service and I was a waitress before as well. People now days have no customer service skills. Very unfortunate to have managers and staff that cannot handle these situations...
Read moreOk, so I got an email saying Denny's had a breakfast special for $6.99 and I took my sister out to eat. I arrived and ordered the meal and asked if I could replace the bacon with hash browns, to which the waitress said I could not substitute anything since it was a special. I told I could NOT EAT bacon and she said she was "sorry" but that thats how it was. This infuriated me. She didn't even ask anyone if they could make an exception and it's not even about that....people have allergies, religious beliefs and dietary regulations outside of preferences. Just because someone CANT EAT MEAT shouldn't mean we cant have a deal meal 😡😡 If could eat bacon, that would be fine. But I CAN'T! Not only because I've been a vegetarian for 21 years, but in my religion its forbidden to eat pork! Its ridiculous that I couldnt enjoy pancakes, eggs and toast just because they wouldn't fry some potatoes instead of bacon. I wasnt asking for extra stuff, just a switch of item, which if the food isnt premade should be easy to do. They did zero in terms if other options or deals or anything. And seeing as my diet will not be respected in a place I'm PAYING to eat at, I will not be returning to Denny's though I've been a regular client since as long as I could remember as a child. I'm not giving a company that won't accommodate ghey customers. Imagaine if I had allergies and they wanted to force me to include peanuts in my meal! Or to reduce me to eating a salad because they wont let me order a meal over one item. Smh I'm done with you Denny's. This was the last straw. I've already let slide the multiple times you promote a dish and then tell me you don't have the stinking items to make it! Your a restaurant for goodness sake! You should know how much you need! Once I could pass but FOUR TIMES?! Do inventory and let people know b4 they order what you're out of or go buy your stuff! Then the two times you were rude to me as a Dasher too....smh. Saw your true colors when you didn't see me as a client. I'm over it. I don't recommend...
Read moreI don’t know where to begin. Horrible service. Definitely will never come back here. And to start only 5 tables were being occupied so it wasn’t crazy busy at all to be unattended to like we were. Waited 15 to be seated. Another party of 4 that got here AFTER us got seated BEFORE US. Got to our table it was wet all over from being cleaned so I simply asked them to dry it and the server boy brought me a handful of napkins for me to dry it myself 🙄 lol ok I guess. The lady seen I needed kid menus and said she’ll bring it to us but never did. Sent my son to ask for the kid menus after waiting extremely long. THEN Took over 15 minutes to get waters, we only got them because AGAIN I sent my son to ask for waters for us 4. Same boy brought the waters finally. Another 20 minutes go by and we’ve been ready to order but there’s not a server in sight. One lady brings the next table waters and I tell her we’re ready to order and she ignores me and walks away. I said it loudly so I know she heard she was right next to us. After another ten minutes I send my son AGAIN to tell them we’re ready to order. 5 minutes go by and here’s a different lady taking our order. And I’ve been writing this review while waiting for food. I will continue if over we eat to let you know how it was… good was pretty good. Kids said their pancakes would’ve tasted better with butter but I wasn’t about to wait 15 minutes for some and their food be cold.. The server seen I was writing this review and her whole demeanor changed 😂. I hate to be one not to tip but when I say horrible I mean horrible. I’ll leave a small tip. And I’m paying for the elderly womens meals next to us, just because I had a bad experience doesn’t mean they have to. 😊 well waited at the register to pay for another...
