An Absolute Gem in Sturgeon Bay – PTY’s Kitchen! I had lunch at PTY’s Kitchen three days in a row—and I honestly wish I could’ve stayed longer just to keep going back. Every meal was a hit, full of flavor, and made with care. It’s rare to find a place where the food feels both home-cooked and restaurant-quality, but PTY’s nails it. The menu has a great variety, the portions are generous, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. On top of that, the service is warm and genuine—like visiting a friend who happens to be an amazing chef. If you’re in Sturgeon Bay and you don’t stop at PTY’s, you’re seriously missing out. I can’t wait to come back on my next trip. Places like this are why small-town food scenes matter.

My boyfriend and I were in the area to hike and saw PTY on google and wanted to try it out! Very clean the place is, and we also adore the simple decorations overall in the restaurant. The flower backdrop by the door entrance was STUNNING! Food was amazing; we got an order of spring rolls, crab rangoon, Thai tea and the pho combo. Love the pho portion; it had a good amount of protein, noodles, greens and onions with hot broth. the spring rolls are my favorite! It was nicely stuffed and the sauce was bomb! I believe the owner of the restaurant came out and talked to us, she’s very sweet! Would go again! Shout out to the waitress for taking our picture as well!

Amazing! Restaurant is clean and we were greeted right upon entry. I love the way they changed the interior of the place-- more modern and feels welcoming. Best of all, the food is amazing. I forgot to take pictures before I started digging in 😂 oops. I love my curry noodles, my husband loves his pho, and the sweet chicken was perfect for my 2 year old and 4 year old. Definitely coming back.

Overall, an excellent restaurant with many different Asian dishes to choose from. We were visiting from out of town and were so excited to get Asian food! We ordered crab rangoon, pho, tofu fried rice, and Thai ice tea. Everything for the most part was very delicious. The thai ice tea, however, was way too sweet - too much condensed milk really spoiled the taste. The crab rangoons are really good, however, you only get two. I find it a bit odd that they couldn’t give you at least three or four and up-charge a little. Crab rangoon is such a staple appetizer for many Asian restaurants which often gives fair prices for a reasonable amount. I would’ve given a rating of five stars entirely, but felt the customer service was lacking. I could very well have misinterpreted, but every encounter from the staff felt maybe a bit passive and disinterested. One staff came up and asked, “how’s everything?” waited for us to respond then left - it felt almost like an obligation rather than genuinely checking to see if everything was going well. I understand it’s not a true dine-in restaurant since you order up front, but you can always tell a part the restaurant’s that really care about their customers and the customer experience. I always try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and seeing that they just started this year, there is some grace there. The restaurant business is hard but they have a lot of potential and I hope...

I ordered Pad Thai. When it arrived, it literally smelled like urine and I couldn't eat it. This is rare for me—I will eat food even if it's not great. I've ordered Pad Thai from dozens of different restaurants in my lifetime, and I've never encountered anything so bad that I couldn't take one bite. The stench was that bad, like old crusty urine. I told my partner that there was no way I could touch it and I didn't know what to do. He said that we can trade dishes. To him it smelled bad but tasted okay. I started eating his curry dish, which was way too salty and didn't taste fresh. I was able to eat a small amount (maybe 1/4) before I gave up. Now I have a stomachache. As for the restaurant, there were children running back and forth chasing each other the length of the restaurant and right next to our table. Definitely not a good place for a date, even if there is something edible...

After waiting a half hour for food, we asked how much longer because we had a play to go to in Sturgeon Bay. We were then informed it would be another 30 minutes and that would have put us past the start of the play. We were asked if we wanted the food to be packaged to go and I suggested that they give us back our money. It was everything wrong with customer service that you could imagine. They were non-apologetic unfriendly on top of it. The fact that they only had three tables but I don't know how many takeout orders if any, and they could not tell us at the time we ordered that I was going to take 1 hour to get a bowl of noodles was incomprehensible and unacceptable. Needless to say, I don't think the new owners know what they're doing because besides the terrible wait time, more than half of the items sold out or just...
