While we were there, a staff member dropped a plastic cup on my husband’s head. I still gave the service five stars because they were all wonderful even during this (I thought hilarious) accident. The food however, I was severely disappointed in. I grew up about an hour and a half from Manhattan in a very richly Italian area. I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews. We ordered the penne à la vodka and veal marsala. I got rigatoni that was undercooked, not al dente. The sauce was good until I ate a huge slice of raw garlic. My grandmother would have cringed. You always sauté the garlic before putting it in the sauce. I had to carefully pick the huge slices of raw garlic out of the sauce just to eat it. The sauce was otherwise good. The veal was not as tender as I would have liked but the Marsala sauce was perfection. Absolutely delicious. My son ordered a small meatball pizza, and he loved it (he’s picky, not a chicken nugget kid). I tried a slice and thought it was very good. We also had the fried fresh mozzarella and that was very good. Atmosphere was lovely as well. Overall I will give this place another shot, if only to support a decent local Italian place. Hoping for a better experience next visit.

We always order to go, but this was our first time sitting down inside. The wait staff was exceptional. Sydney was amazing. She was happy to be there and very attentive. I ordered the Pan Seared Salmon w asperges in a caper sauce. When I tried it, it was not something I could eat. My pallet was not designed for such a fine meal. I ordered it so I was gonna eat it. But Sydney noticed the look on my face and immediately knew I was forcing it down. She gave me the option to order something else and was very concerned about not eating something you don't like. I ordered another meal, and it was delicious (shrimp/crab linguini in cream sauce). I was able to enjoy my meal with my wife. I really appreciate ppl who care and want you to enjoy your experience. Now, the only thing she could not do was get rid of the "NETS." They drove us crazy. We swatted the whole time eating and even knocked one in our food. If we killed one another was flying in. So freaking annoying. Totally not Sydney fault she was great. But the restaurant yea this is your problem, and it needs to be addressed. We love the food, but I think we will order out from now on "hold the nets."

We visited on Friday around 1 for lunch. I had never heard of this place and thought we were just grabbing pizza to go. I was greatly surprised by the extensive menu, decor, and full bar. We had calamari and mussels for the appetizers. The Calamari was some of the best that I’ve had in this area. Fresh, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The mussels with the fresh bread were amazing as well. I got the blackened tuna (cooked medium) with the Caesar salad and my husband got the veal piccata. I didn’t love the veal dish, but that may be personal preference. The portion sizes were huge and the staff was very nice. Even with the crowd we were in and out. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Food was great but they could’ve kept the attitude. When my party arrived we had 10 people present. We told the hostess who acted new, appeared to be very young, and cared less, that we needed a table for 14 people. After standing there looking into the distance she asked again how many people we had. The other 4 ppl were right behind us in another car and on the way. Once we were taken to our seat, there were two 6 seater separate tables and a booth offered to us. We’re a family, so that means we would like to sit together. The tables weren’t pushed together and when we asked if this was our table the young hostess said “yes this is where you’ll be sitting and you can push the tables together to make all the seats you need.” I asked “are we supposed to push the tables together?” She blankly stared at us and just stood there. Like, why weren’t the tables already set up before we walked over? Were paying customers supposed to do this? A nice busgirl that seemed more experienced apologized and proceeded to put all three tables together with the help of one other younger boy. Once seated we were all accommodated on separate checks. Which on one half of the table worked wonderfully and on the other half didn’t work at all. All in all the food was amazing, no doubt about that. I ordered a glass of wine suggested by the waitress which was wonderful. So half of our party had issues with tickets and the other half did not. Once the bills were not done correctly twice, the waitress showed her frustration by asking If she could just get the card so she wouldn’t have to walk back and forth. I wanted cheesecake and so did another person in our party, but did not get it. After going to the hostess counter to ask the SAME LITTLE GIRL for cheesecake that stared into the distance when we arrived; she did this once again. So I left and so did the rest of my family. It was quite weird how myself and my family were treated. We won’t ever come back. Regardless of the food...

I used to love this place I have to change my 5 star to 1 star today unfortunately. Every time I go I always call and ask to make sure the cook JJ is there. Someone lied and told me yes, he was there. When I got there they said he hasn't been there for weeks, out due to an injury. The bill was 103 dollars and my dish was disgusting! My noodles was soggy and way overcooked and my dish had no flavor. It takes me 40 minutes to get there and when I was leaving it took me over an hour to get back home. The whole trip was such a disappointment even my waitress was poor in her defense she stated she wasn't feeling good and still requested to come to work anyway. I brag about this place because the food WAS so delicious however, if JJ is not there I will never return! I travel way too far to get to them and their prices are way too high for me to be so disappointed. I gave my waitress a $20 tip and she couldn't even remember to bring the bread to the table. I'm so sad about this, Lindsay did try to help but it's so much you can do when the food is unacceptable, overcooked, and disgusting and your waitress is sick not one time did she ask did we need a refill! JJ please get well soon it's yuck without you! My poor friend who I invited and bragged about the food and services had to experience...
