Zero's has always been my 1st choice when I wanted a sub. However, the crazy price they charge has caused me to seldom go there, anymore. Well, today, I decided to go for it. I was disappointed, to say the least. I got my usual... a whole meatball with cheese. From the very first bite, I could tell this wasn't what I was used to getting from ZERO's. It was obvious the bread had been reheated in a microwave, not an oven. It wasn't crispy at all, and it was very, very chewy. The meatballs had the taste and smell of being burnt. They were almost black, inside and out. The inside didn't look fresh.. ugh! Even the sauce looked dark and old. I'm not sure how I would get lettuce on a sandwich thay doesn't come with it of I asked for tomato. Also unsure of how I seem to have food missing from my order that I never thought to check their work ( its just sandwiches) to get home ( which is a 40 minute drive for me) amd be missing food like French fries I ordered and paid for. To the person who suggested they microwave their subs that is a countertop convection oven they use to heat the subs. I have one at home and while it may be small they heat things up quick.
Did not have fries or a drink so can't comment.
Also if your not a local you might drive right by it as it is attached to a gas station like...
