*Update 9/22/2025 Felt the need to write an update for Scoops Sugar Hill after we had yet another standout experience tonight. After my son's boy scout meeting, he asked if we could get a treat. Being so close to Scoops, I checked the time and we still had 30 minutes. Haley and Zion made our night and really helped us enjoy our ice creams and served us with smiles and great cheer. What a good look on an Ice Cream Shop and I simply wanted to give both of those kind young ladies a high five and a note of praise. My wife and second son said they wanted Scoops as well after I messaged them asking if they wanted anything. They drove from Buford because they felt like a nice treat from Scoops as well. Haley and Zion were kind and had great service even until before closing time and we were very happy with our night. 5 Solid stars for Scoops Sugar Hill and two thumbs up!!

This ice cream shop and candy store is an absolute delight to come to. This has become the "reward" destination for my younger son who loves choosing candy from the many options. Candy is pay per weight and the ice cream is also great here. Plenty of outdoor seating and prices are fair.

love it so much. but one worker is really mean. Me and my friends walked in on my friends birthday wanting ice cream and when we asked for our ice cream she kept rolling her eyes. and the girl at the register yelled at my other friend for not having 3¢. my other friend picked up a lollipop and didn’t know one dropped from behind and then the worker tells her with an attitude “you wanna pick that up” it was in a very mean tone and she didn’t mean to drop it and she was going to pick it back up. also yesterday we went back with my friends because we wanted ice cream and they thought we were stealing they made a whole thing about it and checked my friends bag. and it was very unnecessary because when we go in there we look around and if we don’t want anything we leave and if we buy...

So many delicious options! The one scoop butter pecan ice cream in the deluxe waffle cone was HUGE & so delicious! The chocolate on the cone reminded me of a drumstick! The cone was very fresh and the ice cream was creamy & delicious. My husband got one scoop of apple which was smaller and didn’t have ice cream in the bottom of the cone (guess it depends who makes it)but still very flavorful. Everyone was friendly and offered samples. The truffles & goodies can add up fast at $2 a piece but they were all excellent. The popcorn was a little sweet but also delicious.
