After visiting twice, I won't be returning. Both times, I was met with poor customer service. The cashiers seemed unhappy to be there and treated me with an attitude, like taking my order was a burden. On one visit, a staff member was even texting on her phone while taking my order â incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. She asked me with no smile, âWhat do you want?â And then once I ordered, she continued, âOk, what else?â Just blunt and rude. Then she replied, âThatâs it? Anything else?â
Service was slow, taking over 25 minutes to bring out a simple order. Understandable that it was their soft opening, however, I was disappointed to see that the delays and disorganization continued weeks later. One of the staffs was on her phone and just sat there doing nothing, while the other girl was running back and forth with 2-3 orders at the same time. If the other girl was helping out then me and other customers didnt have to wait for a long time.
As for the food â I was excited to try their bakery items since they did not have it for couple first weeks, I was so excited to try the matcha danish and the cheese corn bread, but the bakery tasted like plastic. The popcorn chicken and fries were overly salty and had a strange, unpleasant smell. I expected a lot more and left feeling disappointed and frustrated.
Thereâs definitely potential here, but the attitude of the staff, lack of urgency, and poor quality of food really ruined the experience. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make...
Read moreWent here for the soft opening tonight. Iâm going to give it constructive criticism because I wish them the best and hope they do well. I ordered the original milk tea with boba. The milk tea really did not have much of a tea flavor. It was too milky. The boba itself was a little too firm and not very chewy. It additionally did not have any flavor. Since theyâre advertising the boba part in their name, I think they need to work on the formulation. My kids didnât like the boba either and said they didnât have any taste. The kids had the strawberry overload with water base instead of tea base. They really liked them and they used real strawberries to blend the drink. My wife had the pomelo sago drink and that was really good too.
They donât have any claw machines but they do have blind box gacha coin machines. Itâs $2 per token and most of them took 4 tokens. So youâre paying $8. A little steep but the kids had fun.
They have a little bakery display area where it looks like theyâll have pastries you can buy self-serve, but it was empty as of now.
Last thing I would recommend is to change the logo written in cursive. The designer didnât do it correctly so the lower case B is written as an L. So it reads LoLites instead of BoBites. Truthfully, most younger people donât know how to read cursive anymore so it doesnât really come off as strong branding.
Weâll definitely be back again after the soft opening to try...
Read moreAbsolutely loved Bobites! Came with my family during their soft opening and absolutely loved everything we tried.
Ambiance is so cute. Love the chill spots for people to hang or do work. They also have a cart with games to play and gacha machines. Our daughter loved it!
Service was great, the owners checked in on us to ensure everything tasted great. I love when businesses make it personable. We learned their bakery goods were made in store. We had the ham and cheese mini toast and our little one absolutely loved it. We also tried their dumplings which were delicious! Their spicy mayo is homemade!
My husband got to mochi taro milk and I got the mango pomelo sago. Both were delicious! We are excited to come back and try more drinks and food. Truly wish the best for them. We know for sure we will be...
