Went here on a Saturday morning around 9:30-10:00am. i got a regular bun and a pecan bun. the regular cinnamon bun was under cooked. i got home and removed it from the Styrofoam box, and was left disappointed with a raw center. I normally would scratch make my own, but not wanting to spend a few hours making my own, i opted to try this restaurant out. If the owner is reading this review, i make a suggestion to improve the experience of going to your establishment. Cinnamon bun icing is not supposed to be poured out of a canister. its too easy to mix cream cheese, butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar and spread it on the hot bun with a spatula. Please make an proper frosting that would take your rolls to the next level. as it is now, with the experience of an under cooked bun, i'd say this is a two star. if the bun were fully cooked, and had the correct type of icing, it would easily...
Read moreWe came here for the first time on Sunday after church. I know reviews said come early but hey it was the only time we had lol. Place was pretty empty at 1230 so I assume that they get busier in the morning. Nevertheless the man around the counter was super friendly. We informed him it was our first time and he gladly explained everything to us. The jalepeño sausage and cheese kolaches are some of the best I've ever had. No exaggerating. No joke. Kolaches were borderline inedible, the cinnamon roll was a 5/10.
The roll itself had a doughy and warm consistency; until it wasn’t, which ruined the brief moment of joy I got from eating it. The glaze was very sweet, but oily so if that’s your thing then try it out.
Kolaches had unmelted kraft cheese and the bread was reheated two or three times too much but was stale at the same time. Which is hard to do but terrible as a kolache.. so congratulations I guess. Little Oscar Meyer knock off sausages. I mean just buy the real things.
Everything about it was poor and cheap. A total disappointment...
