Pollo Campero — Restaurant in Sugar Land

I looked at the menu online and they have a 8 piece bites with a side combo and a 12 piece mixed combo with 3 sides. The lady looked at me weird and proceeded to ring up my order. She tells me the 8 piece comes with 2 sides. I get home and I’m missing the 8 piece but have the 2 sides! I drive back to the place and tell her the bites weren’t in the bag. She said ”oh I didn’t charge you for it.”

ITS NOT ABOUT GETTING CHARGED OR NOT!!! I wanted my bites! The lady tells me “I didn’t think you wanted them.” So I asked her so why did you give me the 2 sides? I asked to speak to the manager. I tell the manager “it’s not about her not charging me for the bites. I wanted bites and I had to drive back here to get them. I see that they aren’t on the receipt. I just want my bites for my daughter!” Both manager and the employee ask “you want the bites mixed, wings, thighs, legs?” Ummm the bites are white meat bits no bones! “Oh you mean the camperitos? Asked the manager.

I came with my wife to eat here after a long time craving pollo campero.The cashier ask for my order I tell her and the transaction is complete.Afterwards I realize the tortillas weren’t included I understand it was my mistake but she could have gave me a pass since it was honest mistake.What worse afterwards they never tell me I would have to wait 15 minutes chicken breast while this is my half hour of lunch.I sit there and wait more then 15 minutes passed.Best they can tell me oh wait another 5 minutes. I go back and buy the tortillas and 2 breads since that’s actually what I wanted from my first order not even that they still charged me. After waiting and seeing everybody eat.I had to get up because I was planning dining in but couldn’t anymore told them I needed to take my food to go.I actually would have requested for a full refund but didn’t because I wouldn’t have another chance buy food somewhere else until I got home. my experience at this location was not the best. to start off, my family went in a the cashier was so serious with us. my mother tried being friendly and nice and the cashier (sonia) lacked of respect. not just that, while my mom was smilling and the manager, im guessing she was caucasian, she gave my mom a disrespectful and mean look. as we went to sit down the we saw the floor and it was greasy and with some food on the floor. we saw towards the kitchen (grill) area, the employees were not using gloves. the employees were only talking to one another, not taking care of the customers. a nice teenager brought our food and asked us if we needed anything else. when we got home we noticed the chicken was burned and dry. the "grilled" chicken was burned badly. the fried chicken was dry and burned and it still had pieces of FEATHERS. i am difitnally not coming to this location anymore, if anyone wants a real pollo campero with good chicken and friendly service try bellaire...
