Walked it and it wasn’t too busy inside, outside maybe like 3 cars in drive thru, and one Uber Eats waiting on their order. No one acknowledged me even though manager Alonso was up front he did turn around after maybe 3 minutes and asked me give him a second, which I did, I waited and then after another maybe 5 minutes he asked me what I wanted, I asked for a tender strip combo with a side of red beans and rice and a mango tea, he told me to hold on and repeat it again, so I did. Then I told him my second combo and again he asked me to repeat the order which I did no attitude from me then the third combo I also repeated three times, then I paid. I sat down with my two teenage kids and waited food didn’t take long and the young boy that helped us was very nice and asked if I needed anything else. He was so much more customer friendly than the manager. My spicy tender strip meal was kinda cold and I had asked for red beans and rice in the side and they gave me mashed potatoes but I wasn’t gonna go back up there and wait even longer since my food was already kinda cold. So I just ate my food. Well when I was leaving I went up to order just a chicken sandwich to go, and I waited maybe 5 to 8 minutes, and that’s that a couple of crew members came up and saw me and they didn’t even acknowledge me, one women looked at me as she walked to the front and she just grabbed whatever she needed and went back to what she was doing, finally the manger came out and he ask for my order which was a basic sandwich to go, he rings it up but doesn’t complete it all the way and he goes back to his office, and I’m waiting like 2 minutes he comes back I tell him that it’s not letting me pay and he tells me to try again, and goes back into his office, and by now I’m annoyed. Cause how can you. It wait until I complete my transaction for you to go back into your office so I yell out, hey it’s it letting me pay you have to redo it. He comes back and sighs and says ok try again. And then I was finally able to pay. And I. Inform him that my sandwich is ready cause the boy from the back brought it up and Alonso just yells out can someone give her the sandwich. I’m like wow this is the worst customer service I have ever had. He is not manager material. They need to retrain him and let him know that even when it’s busy or if they are busy doing something else that they need to tell the customer hey I see you and I will be right with you instead of being so dismissive. But the one you crew member he was very nice he’s the one that gave me my orders and asked if I needed anything else. I wish I had gotten his name. Anyway I don’t think I will be dining at this...
Read moreSIMPLY DESPICABLE SERVICE! ON MARCH 29 I WENT TO THE POPEYE’S LOCATION ON 8002 S. HIGHWAY 6 HOUSTON TX. I ORDERED MILD CHICKEN AND BISCUITS AND REQUESTED HOT SAUCE. WHEN MY FAMILY AND I WERE ABOUT TO HAVE DINNER I NOTICED 3 MISTAKES WERE MADE. THEY GAVE ME SPICY CHICKEN AND KETCHUP, NO BISCUITS AND NO HOT SAUCE! ON JULY 5 I RETURNED TO ORDER AND REQUESTED TO SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER ON DUTY. THE LADY I SPOKE TO WAS MARY. I EXPLAINED TO HER WHAT HAPPENED THE LAST TIME I WAS THERE AND ASKED HER IF SHE COULD GIVE ME THE BISCUITS I DIDN’T RECEIVE ON MY PREVIOUS VISIT SINCE I HAD PAID FOR THEM AND NOT RECEIVED THEM. SHE SIMPLY SAID “I AINT GONNA GIVE YOU ANY FREE FOOD!” AS I WAS STANDING THERE EMBARRASSED BY HER TONE AND SHOCKED BY HER CUSTOMER SERVICE SHE JUST IGNORED ME AND WALKED AWAY. I THEN LEFT AND TOOK MY BUSINESS TO THE LOCATION ON 12550 BELLAIRE BLVD. HOUSTON TX. ON JULY 7 I CALLED THE CORPORATE OFFICE AND MADE A COMPLAINT WITH REGINALD IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. HE TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD INVESTIGATE AND LET ME KNOW. I WAITED UNTIL JULY 16 TO SEE IF ANYONE RETURNS MY CALL. THEN I CALLED BACK AND I TALKED TO TRISH YOUNG AND SHE SAID MY COMPLAINT WAS NOT IN THEIR SYSTEM. SO I THEN GAVE HER ALL MY INFORMATION AGAIN AND SHE SAID SHE WOULD INVESTIGATE AND LET ME KNOW. TODAY IS JULY 29TH 2014 AND I’M STILL WAITING……… I DON’T KNOW HOW ELSE I COULD SWALLOW AND JUSTIFY THIS KIND OF SERVICE AND BEHAVIOR FROM A FOOD CHAIN THAT THEIR REPRESENTATIVE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE HEADQUARTER PERSONNEL BOTH DISGARD THEIR CUSTOMER LEGITIMATE COMPLAINT EXCEPT LETTING OTHER PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT IT. I HAVE ALL THE RECEDTS TO BACK THIS CLAIM UP. I DON’T KNOW WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE PHRASE “CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT EVEN IF HE/SHE IS WRONG” IN MY CASE IT SEEMS TO BE THE OPPOSITE “CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG EVEN HE/SHE IS RIGHT. THE COST OF TWO BISCUITS IS NOT MORE THAN 20 CENTS, BUT THE COST OF LOSING A CUSTOMER IS WAY HIGHER. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO POPOYE’S...
Read moreRude, disorganized, mismanaged, disrespectful...should be avoided at at all costs...is all I can say about this Popeye's location. I recently stopped to pick up a quick lunch since I was in the area working. It was super hot inside the restaurant, the wait time for food was killer. The staff clearly could not read an order and easily put it together without assistance. One patron, who had been sitting down waiting for his food since I arrived, walked up to the counter and asked if he could have a cup of water. They told him "no". He then asked why he couldn't have a cup of water, they told him drinks are only for people dining in the restaurant...since he had placed a to-go order, they could not give him a drink. He then said, I'm not asking for a drink, I just want a cup of water. The gentleman, once again said "No, I can't give you a cup of water...it's management policy". I was floored. We are all sweating, waiting around 15 to 20 minutes for food, and they REFUSE water. Something free, and cheap, which you can get out of a sink...and they REFUSED to give the guest water. I've never seen the likings of this, ever, in a restaurant with a paying customer. The gentlemen politely said, if you can't give me a cup of water, then I don't want your food, so give me my money back. They then took their time refunding his money. So, they would rather lose a $10 food purchase than give someone a .10 cup of water. RIDICULOUS. Based on this, I REFUSE to ever stop here again, and...
