Taco Cabana is barely lucky I'm giving them a star.So we ate there about 10:45am or maybe around 11:00am, the place looked clean. What I thought was cool looking, was the restroom doors, because they resembled the Mexican bingo cards, but honestly the customer service sucked big time. First of all the cashier was already rolling her eyes when we first entered the door like that was already strike one, second, so I give credit for the manager telling us good morning, how are you?, but how come the cooks or cashier didn't say good morning? If you don't want to work there, you are not being forced! Finally, some goofy looking guy ends up giving our food to us, but my family and I already see mistakes on our food, I mean it was like the cashier was ignoring us while she was taking the order. We tell the dude that they had mixed up the plates and that they didn't know the difference between an enchilada and a fajita, the guy looks at us like okay? Also, the cashier didn't tell us what came on our order, so on all of our meals was sour cream, sh!!! all of us our allergic to sour cream. Also, they try and fill up most of their plates with freaking salad, come on now!!!! So my father asks for his money back and ends up getting lip from the cashier and cooks, so our only hope was the manager. The cashier and cook tagged teamed on us and started getting attitude trying to correct us, like first of all the customer is always right no matter what, it is your fault you don't know how to explain. To make the story all short, please don't waste your time at this Taco Cabana in sugarland,TX, and instead head on down to the KFC/Taco Bell in Rosenberg, TX near the Brazos town center, and if you get lost it's near a Carl jrs, and Walgreens. For sure you'll get great customer service and a full crew full of smiles. Always remember to have a...
Read moreI see the restaurant has responded to my 1 star review. I don't know how to get in touch with them but their response spurred me to give more details. When I pulled up the speaker at the drive thru was impossible to hear. I tried to get my order across and seemed like they got it. Then I pull up and they ask for almost $40! I wanted the 3 taco combo and a Dr pepper! I clarified with them, they even explained the difference between a plate and a combo. I said I wanted the 3 taco combo (fajita beef) and a Dr pepper and paid. Then I look at the receipt and he only gave me a single taco and a Dr pepper with a bunch of free sauces and add ons. I quickly clarify that I wanted the three taco combo and a Dr pepper! He gave me two more tacos trying to make it better. And it would have been, if I didn't subsequently drive off to find only 3 bare bones (meat and tortilla) tacos with no salsas nothing, and no chips and queso that was supposed to come with the combo. It was a waste of my time trying to get them to comprehend my order, I had to get back to work so I quickly ate what I had and got back to work. Ruined my lunch break, wasted my time. I'm not going back. It's not a language barrier either, the guy was clearly a native English speaker. Just dumb I guess. I couldn't tell you, but he was very off and at one point asked the manager to come by to clear out the order but never had them help him out the order in. Service is poor everywhere, the only good place nearby is the Wendy's! They never mess up my order and are fast. Great place. You know what, I'm going to go give the Wendy's a...
Read moreThey advertise that the Taco combo is back. I've never had one so I decided to try one with my wife. After receiving two fajita tacos (3 very small pieces of fajita meat in each taco, with nothing else in the taco), one small bag of stale chips, & a small cup of queso and a 20 oz drink. We were charged $9.19 per combo. If we had known it was so small for that price we would never have ordered it. Both my wife and I thought we had been punked. We were just waiting on the camera men to jump out but never did. My wife also ordered a ground beef burrito which was twice the amount of product as the combo for only $5.00. I also ordered a small quesadilla and at every other location they have either added pico it have verified if I wanted it added. This time neither happend. So I got a quesadilla with only meat and cheese in which they had burned and was served cold to me. We ended up with a bill for $32.00 plus change and we both still walked away hungry and very disappointed. Taco Cabana had always been one of my favorite fast food restaurants but we are definitely sure we will not be v returning to this location even with it being the closest location to our new house. Hope this review makes it higher up the chain within Taco Cabana mansgement team. We feel cheated and are still hungry. Sincerely, Michael &...
