Yikes, first, to be fair they have no employees so my experience could be because of this. The restaurant is clean and modern and is comfortable. But that doesn’t make up for the issues we encountered. To begin, the waitress didn’t know the menu or even basic questions about the different meals. They brought out stale tortilla chips?? As an appetizer I guess? With yum yum sauce and spicy Mayo for dip? Confusing.
No plates or silverware for the appetizer we actually did order, seeing as we all ordered the hibachi style meal we all are supposed to get one soup and salad with our main entree. Well the server wasn’t aware of that I suppose. So she kept asking who gets what when In fact we all get it lol. It’s fine maybe she’s new.
Finally when we got our food it was very clear the food wasn’t made to order because it was Partially cold and the sauce had settled and gotten gloopy. The rice was microwaved and not really fried. It was very evident it was made all at once and left to sit out and then just assembled when needed.
After sitting for about an hour and a half at this point we asked about the sushi we ordered seeing as it still hadn’t received, the server had to come back and ask us which rolls we ordered and then would go “check” on it but continuously came back asking if we ever got them. We did not. Finally after about 2 hours we gave up. I went and just asked the server to cancel the rolls so we can pay and leave. She told me to talk to someone else who explained that they were mistakenly given away. Which is understandable however, it took over an hour. Make them again?
When canceling the order they up-charge on little things to make up the cost of the sushi. I didn’t realize until we had left.
Things to Note: 4 drinks cost 9 dollars, bare in mind, it was bottle sprite with no way for refills. The meal all together sushi included was $112 for four people. After we dropped the sushi it was $80 not once did they apologize or even look like they cared about messing up. The food has good flavor and tasted fine. Not $80 fine but it was ok. Our waitress sucked. No other way to put it.
In conclusion: if you go I hope it’s better than what we got. I’d wait till they have more employees but if I’m honest, I don’t see them...
Read moreI called to place an order and repeatedly said what I wanted, which was fried rice with chicken and shrimp and one with the combination meats; beef, chicken and shrimp. The woman said she couldn't add the beef to one of the them even though we ordered inside the restaurant before. So be ause of the language barrier, I just gave up and said two chicken and shrimp. Then when I get it home I have three orders and the rice has no shrimp in it. I call to tell her what happened because the prices aren't cheap here, but more over out of principle. The lady argued with me and looked up camera footage apparently and told me I ordered what she said, when I know exactly what I ordered. After blatant rudeness and the inability to admit they made an error, she ask what I wanted. I told her I want my order to be right the next time I order and no charge for the shrimp I had already paid for but didnt get. She said I ordered 3 instead of two, which I paid for...definitely not a free one, because she got the whole order jacked up! And STILL she CONTINUED to go on and on that I ordered what I got. I told her it wasnt worth all this arguing and told her to forget it. I wanted nothing from her. I wanted what I ordered and paid for. THATS NOT TOO MUCH TO ASK, so because of her attitude of the phone when I ordered and called to tell her the order was wrong all the way around, I won't go back. It's certainly not worth the hassell and not worth the $45 for three containers of simple rice and chicken. A business should be admit when a mistake is made. Ironically this is the first place I've called about a bad order in probably 20 yrs. The whole experience was just nuts. I usually order from the husband and have never had an issue. First time with her and it's a mess...but I got it...
Read moreWe love Sushi, Hibachi and experiencing new places, so we decided to try this place for Father's Day. We went with another family, so in total there were 7 of us. When we arrived, there were not very many people, so we figured we beat the crowd and we would get good service. We were seated quickly and honestly that was the best part of the service we received. It was about 15 minutes for our server to get our order and then our food came out at different times ( I know kitchen issue, not server) and my daughter's order was completely forgotten. We usually always wait to eat until everyone has gotten their food to begin eating, subsequently, my husband's food was cold by the time my daughter received hers. Our cups were refilled once, maybe twice, the entire time we were there.
The plates did have large portions and the menu had a wide selection to choose from, but honestly it was just ok food. My husband's steak was overcooked and my fried rice (plain fried rice) lacked seasoning for my taste. On the other hand, another person in our party did compliment the Miso soup.
I'm not sure if this place is new because I had not seen it before and I'm hoping they can work out the kinks, so we can come back and give it another try.
One more good thing about the place is that their prices are...
