This is literally the worst Tim Hortons. The donut, danish, bagel etc... choices are very limited in comparison to other locations. The staff is hit or miss- some nice or some rude. Drive thru is usually fairly quick which is positive and the girl on the intercom has always been nice...
One consistent issue I come across has been with the timbits. I always order assorted expecting a couple/few of each available (if I want a particular one not included or to be in surplus, I would specify), but the staff gives you just a few of whichever they choose... So usually you get 3 of the same exact ones always (I seem to usually get the sprinkle, sugar coated, and either blueberry or glazed-never chocolate, special edition, jelly, cake, the other option between blueberry/glazed, etc....); you have to literally tell them how many of each and pay attention as they will do this inside if you aren't watching (hello- lazy) and good luck with the drive thru. I've had to ask to please put some back as a huge handful was grabbed and ask for the actual assortment.... Which I was given a deep sigh and glare. I've never had to ask this at any other Tim Horton-ever. That's just one constant issue I experience at this site.
As far as the selection/variety outside the required, the staff blame the management on the lack of some items you find elsewhere (ex. JalapeƱos bagel) and/or say the "extra" items carried is what the management want, not actually following the requests of what people have ask for (which I believe is the case per the next situation). The one time I spoke to a shift supervisor, they said it was the community only wanting the basics. Oddly, as I held this conversation another guest said they have made several requests for the jelly donut timbit that is even on the box and askef6 why is there a bearclaw flavor in it's place (which is a good question) - supervisor just looked at him blankly. No response given to question, only a "thank you for your comments and I'll pass along to the store manager". Nothing has changed and that was 6 months ago.

I was passing through town with my dog and was already parked & situated him with water in the parking lot and such while I went to go in and order a drink. I usually buy something & then sit outside with my dog when it is nice & work on my laptop using the businessās WiFi. Since the lobby was closed, and I already had gotten situated, I decided to just go through the drive-thru after doing a little work (that was the plan). The WiFi stopped working around 6:15. Iām inclined to believe they shut it off because I was the only one there & maybe looked a little different then regular drive-thru frequenters. I frequently encounter unwelcoming businessās when I am sitting outside next to my car (though in the grass & out of the way). Some great businesses! This wasnāt one though. It was pretty disappointing, ended up not buying anything from them. Itās insane how protective suburban fast food chains tend to be of there low-occupancy WiFi & patches of grass. What Iām about to write is sad cause I love Tim Hortonās as a whole, itās my favorite food chain to do my work in. However, the cleanliness of this one is absolutely atrocious. The tables are never cleaned, thereās always 2 or 3 bees and flies in the store, and the bathrooms are terrible and look worse than most gas stations. It was impossible to focus at all today. The product also was extremely dry. But donāt get this review mixed up, this is not on the workers, but rather the General Manager. If you cannot hold the standard and lead by example to fix the store, why are you in a position to own a store? I may not own a store, but I do have a masters in business and know leadership when I see it. I sadly will not be returning to this location it seems, but will in other areas, absolutely a disgrace.
