Bagel Place Cafe — Restaurant in Sunnyvale

This local breakfast shop makes a wide selection of tasty bagels and pastries. When we arrived at 7:45 am, they were quickly bringing more and more bagels out, by the time we left the display was much more full than when we arrived, so, I recommend coming around 8 am for the best and freshest selection. Their chorizo bagel sandwich features a chunk of chorizo sausage with soft scrambled eggs (didn't taste microwaved) and I looked it though I got it on sourdough, which was a bit tough. Their bagels (and croissant too) are more on the chewy side than soft side, so if you're looking for soft and fluffy this isn't that, but they have the flavors dialed in. To be fair we only tried the asiago and sourdough. Our Little Dude approved of the plain croissant, he ate half of it himself. Worth walking a mile to in the morning for breakfast. Though pedestrians be aware that there isn't an easy sidewalk entrance and if you're driving you can't pull directly into the lot, but turn at the McDonald's. I'm posting just to clarify based on what you're looking for. I'll bet the banh mi are tasty and the bagels fresh, but here's my experience: I went in for a cappuccino. I saw they had a nice espresso machine, but when I ordered, he pulled a paper cup out of a fridge and put it in the microwave. Then he poured some milk and used a frother (not the stream wand) to make the cold milk foamy. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't what I was expecting. While I was there, there was another customer with her daughter. The cheese on the egg & cheese bagel was cold/not melted- so she asked him to melt the cheese... He put the whole bagel in the microwave and handed it back. The egg & cheese croissant was made the same way. I'm just putting this here so you know...

I love this place! Always friendly, great place to grab and go early morning. Their Vietnamese coffee & breakfast made to order bagels sandwiches, maaaaan, just awesome hot, delicious, filling!! I’ve been coming here as I have been working in the area in a construction site from out of town, so glad I found them.
