Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Sunnyvale

Update--Feb 23, 2025 Sunnyvale, CA 'Caliente Location' Order #1447 OVER THE YEARS, WE'VE UNFORTUNATELY FOUND THERE IS 'INCONSISTENCY W/QUALITY' OF THEIR PIZZAS😞 This time we ordered the Lrg. 10-Topping Special for $9.99, which is an 'Excellent Price', but some of the 'toppings' were so 'Scarce/Small', you'd need a 'Magnifying Glass' to find them😞 Large (14") Hand Tossed Pizza Whole: Extra Robust Inspired Tomato Sauce, Ham, Italian Sausage, Bacon, Pepperoni, Garlic, Onions, Diced Tomatoes, Black Olives, Shredded Provolone Cheese, Green Peppers, Cheese Pros: Overall 'Quality/Taste' was good. There was 'Extra Sauce', as I'd ordered. There was sufficient amount of 'Pepperoni' and 'Shredded Provolone. Cons: All other 'toppings' were barely existent; almost needed a 'Magnifying Glass' to find them, especially the Ham, Bacon, and Italian Sausage, as well as each of the 'Vegetable' items😞 It seems no matter what the 'Coupon Special' is, the more ingredients ordered, the 'Fewer of Each' there are on the pizza😔 Notes: 1--This is a 'Good Special', but certainly not 'Saving' us $33+, as noted in Online Order, since 'Much Less of Each Item' is used to make up this pizza😔 You Saved: $33.75 2--We were 'very disappointed' the 'Premium Chicken' was not available as one of the Meat Choices😞 3--We usually buy a pizza from this location at least once per month, but because our last couple orders were 'So Badly Made', we hadn't ordered during last couple months. Example--we ordered a couple 'hot sandwiches' in December; my wife's 'Chicken Sandwich' barely had a 'couple pieces' of chicken in it; it was so bad, I actually immediately 'drove back' to store and requested they make 'another one'😔 The person 'in charge' seemed rather 'Indignant' of my complaint/request, but did make it over.

UPDATE--Sept. 14, 2024 Sunnyvale, CA 'Caliente Location' Order #951 OVER THE YEARS, WE'VE UNFORTUNATELY FOUND THERE IS 'INCONSISTENCY W/QUALITY' OF THEIR PIZZAS😞 Last time we ordered Domino's 'New York Style' pizza, other than it 'not being cut correctly', it was 'Excellent' and had lots of 'Cheese', as well as sufficient ingredients👍 Unfortunately, this time, the crust tasted like 'Cardboard' and there wasn't any 'Shredded Cheese' on the pizza😞 We had ordered the Lrg. 5-Topping Special, but there were barely any 'sliced bell peppers or onions' on it; since those are the 'least expensive' of all the ingredients we'd ordered, it's difficult to understand why more were not used🤔 It seems no matter what the 'Coupon Special' is, the more ingredients ordered, the 'Fewer of Each' there are on the pizza😔 BTW--this pizza was also 'Not Cut Correctly'; there were a couple 'large slices', a few 'small slices', and remainder were just 'tiny slivers'😞

Aug. 2024 Sunnyvale, CA 'Caliente Location' We just enjoyed Domino's 'New York Style' pizza with Ham, Italian Sausage, and Premium Chicken from the Caliente location🤤 It was our first time trying 'New York Style' and we were 'Very Satisfied', especially since that 'Thin Crust is so Much Better' than the traditional 'Hand-Tossed' we've ordered for years😋 There was a 'Generous Portion' of each meat, as well as sufficient 'Tomato Sauce/Cheese'👌 Only criticism is it was cut in an 'Odd Manner', not the '6' Foldable Slices...

I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with my recent order experience. This was my first time purchasing from Domino’s, based on a recommendation from a friend, but what should have been a simple transaction turned into a frustrating and deceptive situation.

I placed an online order for a Large (9.9) pizza, as clearly advertised. However, upon arriving at the store, I was handed a Medium pizza instead. When I questioned this, the staff casually informed me that they were out of Large pizzas due to the promotion, so they simply substituted a smaller size at the same price—without any prior notice or compensation. This is completely unacceptable and amounts to blatant consumer deception.

As a new customer, this experience has left me with a deeply negative impression of Domino’s. If the advertised product was unavailable, I should have been informed before completing my order, or at the very least, offered a fair alternative—such as an adjustment in price or additional items to make up for the difference. Instead, I was tricked into paying the same price for less, which is simply unethical business practice. Very poorly handled staff who makes the pizza? These employees have no idea what ingredients for into the pizza, TWICE I ORDERE FrOm these BABOONS and got it all wrong, what is the point of feedback after an order is made if the manager there does give a Flying F. Second time my order was done wrong and upsetting, doesnt take a genius to put a pizza together, everytime i order with EXTRA CHEESE they give me regular plain , I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE! THEY almost always never use the buttery garlic sauce in the edges of the crust like their job entails! GIve a boring plain bread. They dont put white sugar powder on their lava cakes, and pizza arrives kinda cold. Im tired of this ! if by my third order they get it wrong after calling them and telling them to get it right, i will personally drive there and give them a piece of my mind! because the manager is too lazy or doesnt give a care enough to do it himself. I hope coorporate reads this if they piss me off more i will write a letter to their heads. This has never EVER happened at other locations, I know they are not to busy, I forgave them once to many and even a second but by the third im out DOminios!
