Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Sunnyvale

This mountain mike's is great! Most importantly, the pizza always tastes good. First time I ordered here i used Doordash. I've gone a few different weeks where all i'll eat is pizza, and so i've tried ordering from a bunch of places online trying everything from pricey to budget: BJs (also really good pizza), CPK, Round Table (i have to try again), Pizza my heart, Five Star pizza, Freakin Good Pizza, Checkers, Curry pizza, (dominos, pizza hut didn't seem to offer delivery....). After ordering all of them enough, I realized i consistently went back to Mountain mikes. So much that if i ordered a bad pizza from a place i was trying out, I would most definitely be ordering a pizza from Mountain Mikes to satisfy my pizza cravings. After eating enough different types of soggy pizzas, i realized i mostly enjoy and like to judge a place based on their pepperoni pizza, because I feel like a good pepperoni pizza is the type of pizza i could eat all day, multiple days, and it tastes good right when it's fresh, when it's been sitting out, if it's been in the fridge, or reheated. Mountain mikes tastes good for all of these occasions. I will eat it fresh as a meal, and i will continue to eat it after my mealtime. Once it's been in the fridge, i'll take slices out and depending on if i feel like something hot or cold, I will eat mountain mikes over anything else i have in my fridge. I love this pizza so much, I started ordering and picking up in store to save money so i could order more pizzas and get membership points on my account. I'll place an order online through a browser so i can see if I'll get a better deal through any promotions they have there and will pay in store, or if there's no better deals, i'll just use the app to place an order. I usually leave right away (live about 10-15 minutes away thru local traffic) and it's always ready when I step in the door. Perfect experience. Will be eating here often! Order taken by Maycol. Waited over 15 minutes for a MINI pizza, literally the samalkest size they have on their menu--I rarely eat pizza or a lot of it. I'm the only customer in the restaurant for almost 20min. and there's at least 5 people working in the back. No one used gloves to prepare the order as I saw thr the door's window. As soon as I asked for a refund due to the length of time and to cancel the order, Maycol (name on receipt of person who assisted me since they don't wear name tags) ignored me and began helping two customers who just walked in after me eventhough I requested one before they approached the register. Even afterwards, I asked for the refund, he refused to take the receipt and disappeared in the back. He comes back and said manager is coming out here. A lady walks out from the back, speaks to him quietly then returns to the back. Then I said what happened, he said they're contacting a manager on the phone. I Saud you just told me a manager was coming out here right before the lady came. Another customer walks in and he tries to leave my situation and help them. I said I've been waiting here and you're continuing trying to help other people when all I want is a refund. It's been 30min + since I've been here, now. Then two more people come from the back and instead of them processing my refund receipt, which I used card to pay. They open up the register and grab a $10 bill and just hands it to me. I ordered online expecting them when I called to provide credit to my missing breadsticks as I could see the missing food was being delivered by their driver. I asked if they would provide a credit to my credit card but he said it wasn't possible. The other manager in this mt makes pizza had no problem giving a 5.00 credit they said they would have to unwind my order and resubmit it and I said no problem in nice voice tones I could wait. I am anemic and needed the spinach and other vegetables. Then he got mad, and said in low level yelling tones that it wasn't possible to give the credit at all unless I bought a large pizza. As a manager he should make things right and offer a compromise but I was shocked when he yelled at me and I had to buy a large pizza then slammed down the phone. Is this the way a person should be treated. They are seemingly dealing in a very hostile manner towards a paying customer and it's people like me who keep their pizza place afloat. If anyone treated a customer like that where I work they would be fired immediately. Stay a way from this Mt mikes pizza there's other's who will make the food taste great.
