Tastea Sunnyvale — Restaurant in Sunnyvale

My husband ordered online yesterday and had already paid for two of our 32oz drinks, which included the extra charges for extra extra boba. He picked up the order and met me near by to drop it off as I was on my way to work. We didn’t realize until he gave me my drink that it didn’t have much ice and barely had any boba for a 32oz yet alone paying the extra fees for additional boba. I called to let the store know as we already paid the fees ahead of time and the lady who answered said since my husband left with the drinks they can’t do anything. I feel as though they could’ve refunded us or offered at least another drink. Ordered ahead on their mobile app since we are in quarantine. They have 3 options for milk: almond, oat, and a "non-dairy creamer" with no further description. It is naturally sweet and even at half the sweetness, it still might be too sweet for some (my friend). Their boba comes green and it doesn't have any taste, only offering texture to the drink.

Customer service was mixed. The gentleman at the entryway handing out the drinks was polite. My friend asked if she could have a different option of a cupsleeve that was being offered for the event. He was kind and agreed. As he was looking, another co-worker walked behind him and made a condescending remark.

Since this is my first impression of the store and franchise, I'll be sure to consider other options if I'm craving some boba...

First time having Tastea was at this location!

I enjoy coming here to get a passion fruit green tea. I order the passion attraction, sub green tea for black tea, and boba for coconut jelly. Light on the sugar. Depending on how I'm feeling, I'll opt for their 20 oz or 32 oz.

Tea flavor and boba is always consistent here. I also appreciate the staff being able to pump drinks out very quickly.

Tastea definitely is on the pricier end of boba, but you get solid drinks every time. I've been a few times for my passion fruit green tea and it has always been good!
