I am still fuming as I write this review about the absolutely appalling experience my family and I had at Chuck E. Cheese's. We had booked a birthday party for my 10-year-old son, which was generously paid for by his grandparents through a gift card purchased directly from the Chuck E. Cheese's website. You would think that would be a straightforward transaction, but boy were we wrong.

Upon the end of what seems like a good birthday party, the staff refused to honor the gift card, claiming it was invalid. Mind you I spoke to the hostess an hour ahead of time to tell her I'd pay with a gift card. I was shocked and embarrassed in front of my child and the other party guests. I tried to explain the situation to the manager, but they were completely unhelpful and unapologetic. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, they called the police on me! Can you believe it? I was mortified.

To make matters worse, they demanded that I pay a $50 deposit to leave the premises, which I reluctantly did just to avoid further humiliation. But here's the kicker - they didn't even give me a receipt for the payment! They rang it up as "2 hours of Freeplay and 3 soft drinks" instead of the deposit, which means I have no proof of the payment. I am essentially out $50 with no recourse.

The nerve of these people is staggering. They have no regard for customer service or basic human decency. They ruined my son's birthday party and left me feeling disrespected and scammed. I will never set foot in a Chuck E. Cheese's again and would advise others to do the same. The lack of accountability and professionalism is appalling.

Very disappointed in this location. I am visiting from another state so I brought my gkids (who live in Vegas) to have fun with their cousins. I had 9 kids all under age 8 with me. We waited 45min for 4 pizzas that never came. When we asked why the cook (very nice young man) said he was told not to make our food because the card had declined. I checked my account and seen the $217 charged on my card. When I showed the manager she started getting an attitude. The other manager started with an attitude as well saying she made a mistake and was to busy to come tell us anything. Then she said she never told them not to make our food. One manager then aggressively walked up behind me saying "YOU NEED TO STOP RECORDING" because she assumed I was recording, when I wasn't. I showed her my phone so she argued saying I was recording. I SHOWED my phone again to point out there was no red dots and nothing else indicating it was recording. She then yelled at me telling me she was giving me my money back. I waited for her for another 20 min because she disappeared and NEVER came back out. I went to the other Manger who then just gave me two receipts saying my money will go back on my card. So now I have 9 littles STARVING, my gson who turned 8 today is disappointed because he wanted pizza for his birthday with his family he hasn't seen in over a year. This is definitely the worst chuckee cheese I've ever visited. I don't know how it has a 4.0 My daughter wanted chuckee cheese for her bday with cousins so I took everyone here, it was a total of 12 of us. Worst mistake ever! 1st of all it was definitely NOT CLEAN, very dirty. Pepsi, Sierra mist, were out on both machines and when we told them instead of replacing it they just put signs on them saying it was out of order. The pizza they served was badly done, barely had any cheese, or meat on it, super sloppy! Out of the 6 sloppy pizzas we ordered for our large group we ended up taking home 2 1/2 because no one really cared for it. The salad bar was also a waste of money! We went this past Tuesday so Idk if the place didn't have a manager, or if it was being ran by a bunch of clowns. I sure didn't make a complaint about anything because there was just so many wrongs I felt it would be useless, instead I made sure my daughter had a good time playing games.
