I arrived to this Del Taco around 12:25 am on 09/12/2021 and waited almost 15 minutes due to slow speed of service. As I approached the intercom I was not greeted by the cashier Reina. After I inquired, she rudely asked me what I wanted and at the same time told me to hold on. I responded with saying I would like the chicken soft taco special with special request made fresh and a strawberry lemonade. Shortly, after my request Karen (the so called manager of the kitchen) tells me that she is refusing my service because of my special request. Not to mention, she was extremely rude and boisterous. I had to cars in front of me and decided to record my experience on video. As I approached the drive thru widow Reina (the cashier) comes to approach me and I immediately asked to speak to Karen the manager. she calls Karen and on video Karen says “I refuse to service you!!!” Turns her back against me with the utmost disrespect of an attitude. I am beyond mortified if my experience here at this Del Taco and I am a frequent customer. Not to mention, I am former Shift Manager of Del Taco of Del Taco in the state of California. I worked both at the Harbor City and Reseda stores from 2009-2012. I say this to say I know how Del Taco is so suppose to behave professionally and wrongful/unlawful discrimination is not one of them. I have decided to pursue with legal action due to the discrimination and blatant disrespect I experienced at Del Taco. UPDATE: December 7, 2024
The owners of this franchise have, in their infinite wisdom, decided to raise prices again. A micro snack taco is now $1.29. A bean and cheese burrito that was once $ .99 is now $2.19!
This place has lost all food value. Location used to be busy. Where did all the customers go?

Del Taco has been owned by Jack-in-the-box for about 1.5 years: since their purchase food price value has diminished.
Eg; The price of an ice tea doubled and the size of the snack Tacos shrunk.
The employees at this location work their butts off. They also have to constantly deal with the homeless stealing soft drinks and loitering in the restaurant. The franchise owner has just stopped seniors from accessing the "Senior discount" while using a corporate coupon.
Overall, I would estimate a 17% decline in the value formally offered when this was a corporate restaurant before JIB bought Del Taco.
I no longer buy the Iced tea. It's a RIP.

I eat here as a regular. For the price, Del Taco gives you the best food value of all the fast food chains. Overall, this location does a good job with preparing your food. if it's wrong, they'll fix it.
Unfortunately, inflation is now moving prices, especially quickly higher: A 30% increase in the last two months.

When is this madness going to STOP????? At 12:20am tonight I attempted to pick up an order for delivery. I asked the girls name wouldn't give it to me. But she continued to call me baby and sweetie, i am clearly not your baby or your sweetie. So i get to speaker, she says pull to front and wait for the order, well I'm in line with cars behind me, how is one suppose to do that? I'm stuck, so I get to window and she aggressively tells me to go around to the doors and wait. Okay so this makes absolutely no no no sense at al because if I ordered and was paying it would be made as I witnessed all the other people do, none of them are ever moved to the doors and tood to wait, only delivery drivers, which I have seen many times here. So why can my order no be treated the same and made as I'm in line? I have watched 7 cars get there food as I wait at the doors one night. I am not dealing with this type of logic at all and even worse the attitude of the the young lady. As you yells at me to call whoever's I want to call but that's her job.
