DO NOT COME HERE, SAVE YOURSELF!!
We arrived at the location; I asked the girl at the entrance if we could order with her or sit and order, and she replied, "You can order with me." I was with my partner, and we specifically said, "We need to eat here." I had a train to take and needed to eat there and head to the train. We even gave the girl a $5 cash tip, and they gave us our drinks and sat down. They were fully aware of our intention to DINE IN. Even our food was ready they called us to the counter to pick up the food; they THEN told us that we had to take our food to go and we weren't allowed to dine in. No one told us about this, but the girls only pointed out a tiny white sign by the counter with what she said. CONVENIENTLY, they took our order and tip, fully KNOWING OUR INTENTION TO DINE IN. If we had known the rule, I would have dined in, and it would have been no problem. So now, I had to run back home, much down the pizza in 10 minutes, and go speedily to catch a train because the chick at the door wanted the tips for themselves. Horrible service, the fact that I could miss my train because the counter girls wanted a quick tip and didn't want to be polite and friendly about and help us out this once. Instead, they were snarky and uncaring because they already got their tip. They have lost our business. The pizza was also greasy and on the undercooked side. The bathrooms were weird, and one of the stalls was dirty. Only one of the guys was lovely, with curly hair and glasses.
UPDATE: It is sad to know that even the owner has questionable credibility. He responded to my post by stating that his staff ASKED us if we would dine in, which THEY NEVER DID. I was the one who mentioned it SEVERAL times during the whole interaction but the hostess told us to place the order with her and NEVER OFFERED TO DINE IN EVEN THOUGH WE SAID WE WERE GOING TO DINE IN. The owner only chimed in when the food was given to us, way after we paid and tipped. According to the owner, the restaurant was "busy"; he has 22 tables, but only FOUR were taken with guests dining in. Who would imagine that a capacity of 18.18% would be a BUSY DAY (give it that I do not know about your pick-up sales and do not care) and even use it as an excuse to treat new customers just trying to find good local places in their new living city. But shame on them. It is sad to see an owner with no accountability and little to no hospitality, especially when your guests are visiting for the first time; they have places to go, like CATCH A TRAIN and little time to eat. Not only so but I would much instead have given a tip to a DESERVING SERVER than a hostess with 0 hospitality skills who just wanted to keep chatting behind the counter with the other hostess standing there because it seems like their interpersonal social life is more important than paying guests who could become loyal to the business as it is our closest local pizza place to people who just moved from ANOTHER CITY to this new neighborhood. There was no friendliness, EXCEPT for the guy server with curly hair and glasses. He is the only reason I am giving this place a ONE STAR because the rest of their team deserves NOTHING; he treated us nicely and with respect no matter what and even offered assistance while everyone else was in the corner just chatting. What was SO WRONG with being UNDERSTANDING to NEW CUSTOMERS who were unaware of anything and MISLED ON PURPOSE BY YOUR OWN STAFF? HOW WRONG WAS IT TO EVEN OFFER A PAPER PLATE OR EVEN A NAPKIN TO GUESTS WHO WERE NOT AWARE OF THE RULES, NO MATTER HOW MANY TINY LITTLE SIGNAGES THEY POSTED? IF YOU HAD EVEN OFFERED US A NAPKIN I WOULD HAVE TAKEN IT AND WOULD HAVE BEEN GRATEFUL AND EVEN BECOME A REGULAR OF THE ESTABLISHMENT. BUT INSTEAD, IT SEEMS WE ARE BEING NAGGED FOR A SIMPLE MISTAKE THAT YOUR OWN STAFF NEVER, NOT EVEN ONCE, STOPPED TO CORRECT US, CLARIFIED NOT SHARE WITH US! TRULY TRULY A LACK OF HOSPITALITY. I even said, "Thank you." what did your team do? They laughed and mocked us while leaving. NOT EVEN AN OUNCE OF HOSPITALITY OR...
Read moreToday was my first day here. Upon arrival I was greeted by the sweetest little girl at the front counter. That is the extent of my positive feedback on this place. She told me to sit anywhere and I kept having to change my seat becuse I am pregnant and I am super sensitive to smells and when I looked up at the ceiling, there was literally black mold on a majority of the restaurant’s ceiling. I sat at the front left end because the vent had minor mold, only a rusty vent. I have been in the restaurant business before and I’m really not sure how they continue on with that smell or damage, the mold occurring mostly on the vents from obvious previous water damage, that mold is for sure slowly blowing off into people’s food. At first I was like…. Alright if the food is good I just won’t dine in next time but then it’s almost as if god tapped me on shoulder and told me to write this review after the bad stuff just kept coming. I got a waitress who is older and seems like she hates working here, definitely nothing in comparison to the girl who greeted me when I walked in. I ordered a meal that came with soup, and when she served the soup, there was hair in it. I gagged because again I am pregnant and I guess sensitive to a lot of things right now but I couldn’t stand the fact of eating someone’s hair with the follicle still in tact when I pulled it out. The soup was most likely canned, it had no taste. I ordered baked ziti and let me tell you, the dish they gave me was no baked ziti. It was hard penne pasta with cheese. The whole thing was $8 for the “ziti”, soup and garlic rolls which is a great value but I am not sure how they are making a profit unless everything is pre-packaged and canned which I think it was but I wouldn’t mind paying a few more dollars to have better food ya know? Anyways I won’t return and the only reason I write this review is because unfortunately just like it takes a certain amount of accidents before a city installs traffic lights in certain areas, perhaps enough people who try their restaurant will give REAL feedback so that they are aware and maybe actually make changes. I love Italian. I am a new resident of Weston and am excited to try other Italian places. This one is...
Read moreToday I ordered the large Godfather Stromboli and a steak sandwich; minus green peppers. It is supposed to come with mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, onions, green peppers, and mushrooms. So I took it back.
Two guys working on the back we’re extremely rude. They slung the Stromboli in the box after I waited 45 minutes for it. As you can see it was raw and uncooked. The onions inside were raw. The meat was scarce and there was no cheddar cheese visually and literally as you can see. .
While waiting for them to remake it and after trying to convince one of the cooks in the back there was no cheddar cheese; I had a gut feeling by the weird looks and whispers there was going to be an issue with this remake, but I try to give people the benefit of the doubt.
Take a look at the photos of this remake of the Godfather Stromboli that is supposed to have steak, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Globs of cheese, barely any meat or mushrooms, and raw crunchy onion because they did not let it cook.
Mind you in the past I’ve placed several delivery orders. Once they forgot the strong oil, but brought other items. Another time they did not bring the drink abd made us wait an hour for them to bring it, No worries, I never disputed the charge and we continued to patronize this business. The list goes on and on and now this. I definitely do not deal with food places that hire spiteful employees, yes plural meaning more than one. There’s no telling. I will be escalating because this is no longer a customer service issue. The first time today may have been an error and might have been a customer service issue, but the second time was malicious intent and done thing...
