Josie K's Deli and Kitchen — Restaurant in Sunriver

Great place to stop for a breakfast burrito or sandwiches. We were on our way out of Sun River heading to Idaho when we stopped for breakfast. We ordered a Breakfast Burrito and the Piggy's Turkey Sandwich. The Breakfast burrito consists of Sausage, Scramble Eggs, Patatoes, Cheddar Cheese, Sour Cream and Cholula hot sauce. It was a very hearty meal and the tortilla was slightly crisp from the oven. The potatoes were cut a little thicker then I care for but all in all a great breakfast item. The Piggy's Turkey Sandwich was wonderful it had turkey, bacon, pepper jack cheese, mayo, mustard, shredded lettuce, white onion, dill pickle, tomato and pepperoncinis. We heard about Josie’s on social media and were surprised we hadn’t discovered it sooner, considering we visit Sunriver at least once a year—sometimes more. We can be pretty picky when it comes to sandwiches, so finding a spot that meets our expectations isn’t always easy. That said, Josie’s was phenomenal.

One thing that caught me off guard was the sourdough sandwich bread instead of traditional sub bread. I must have missed that detail on the menu, so that’s on me. But honestly? It worked. The sandwich was fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor. We kept it simple with a basic veggie option, and even with just a few toppings, it was delicious.

I have had sandwiches from here twice now. I ordered two different kinds to share with my son so we could try half of each. The Piggy Turkey and the Hot Pastrami! I couldn’t decide which one was better, as they were absolutely delicious. Both times we have eaten here the consistency of how they are made was the same and super good. Out of all the sandwich shops around, JMikes, JJ’s,etc I have never had any this delicious and worth the price. Absolutely my favorite sandwich’s ever. This place knows what they’re doing. I can’t wait to try their other items. Thank you Josie K’s for caring about making good food for people and not doing things sloppy just to make a buck. I appreciate you all.....
