I tried this place for the second time the other night and was very disappointed. The first time, they were out of Pinot Grigio. They had just opened fairly recently at that time so I figured it was due to that - not being on top of inventory yet. They did have Sauvignon Blanc so I settled for that. I really had been wanting to try the food due to all of the rave reviews online. One review in particular was about how the Buffalo wings were the best that a Buffalo native has ever had outside of Buffalo, NY. I went in a couple of nights ago set on getting some delicious wings. 1st problem - no Pinot Grigio. 2nd problem - no Sauvignon Blanc. My 3rd choice because I despise Chardonnay was just an unsweet tea. Not an option. It wasn’t a great start but I still wanted the wings bad enough that I just ordered a sweet tea. We ordered pretzel bites as an appetizer. They were way over done and crispy - not one was soft at all on the inside. We left the majority in the basket and the server did not ask if anything was wrong with them. The 1/2 pound of wings came out. There were 3 whole wings. I have never in my life ordered wings and gotten whole wings. I’m definitely not a fan of them. But if the sauce had been good and the wings themselves good, it would have been alright. Sadly, the wings were really crispy and did not have a lot of sauce or meat on them at all. My date did like his food and one drink that he ordered. I do like the atmosphere and location but I’m not sure I...
Read moreThere is no host stand and no one acknowledged us when we walked in, we weren’t sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or not. We proceeded to stand at the bar awkwardly for another 10 minutes before being acknowledged by a bartender. There were no seats inside besides at the bar so we ordered food and sat outside. There was nothing on the tables outside and no waitress ever came outside to see us once, so we assumed since we ordered at the bar we had to pick up our own food at the pick up counter. There was another couple that sat next to us outside and ordered at the bar as well, since there was no one helping them either. My husband picked up the food we ordered and brought it outside. A bartender came outside and was not very nice to us, she was annoyed about my husband picking the up the food from the window. My husband apologized and explained it was our first time there and had no idea, the whole thing confused us from the start. It was a total misunderstanding and could have been handled differently, didn’t feel like we should have been talked down to the way we were. After that encounter we felt even more uncomfortable and unwelcome being there, we decided to not even finish eating the food. We paid at the bar and left. We were so excited to try this place since people on Facebook gave it good reviews, but after an honest mistake was handled by staff we probably will not be...
Read moreIt’s been a long time since I’ve been so disappointed by my visit to a restaurant. This place is not worth your time or money. We stopped in for a drink and something to eat and have NEVER felt so unwelcome at a place before. When we walked in, there were only 6 other people in the restaurant, yet the owner and bartender never felt the need to welcome us. We then needed to flag the bartender down to order a drink and appetizer. Again, not busy.
After ordering, we quickly received our Philly Cheese Steak Egg Rolls. They looked like they were purchased frozen from Costco and were WAY over-cooked. The owner and bartender could have cared less. Neither bothered to ask us what we thought.
Needless to say, we finished our drinks and quickly left. I can’t see us coming back. Too many other places that actually care about...
