This was the worst sandwich experience I ever had in my life, bar none. I didn’t know they don’t like making changed to what is posted on the menu board above. I didn’t want everything that comes on the sandwich. I was also the only person in the store so NOT putting something on a sandwich would not slow them down from servicing a lunch crowd. First I asked for American cheese instead of provolone cheese. They made fun of me and said they don’t do American cheese because this is a “Gourmet” sandwich shop. Gourmet?? I relented to “no cheese please” as I do not like provolone cheese. Then the guy making my sandwich forgot to put Mayo on my sandwich and I caught it since it’s made right in front of you (a really good thing actually). I asked him to please put Mayo on it before he wrapped it, as I requested twice, and is part of the sandwich ingredients that I did not ask to be removed. He said he was goi g to put packets in the bag. I said just refund me my money if they weren’t goi g to make my sandwich the way I want it. Then all the workers there piled on me and told me not to come back until I’m ready to buy a sandwich as it’s listed on the menu board above. I will NEVER come back to this location again and will tell everyone I know about this experience. It an area director cares to contact me;...
Read moreI was not allowed to eat in the Jimmy John's because of my service dog. The person at the counter claimed that since he has an open Kitchen he is allowed to force me to stay outside. He did offer to take my order and presumably I would have eaten in the parking lot. I traveled here by train. I did not have a car to eat in.
Eat next door at the Yianni's Gyros. Their only sin is that they give you too large a portion of French fries.
Incidentally, the only way my dog would have been an issue is if he jumped up on the counter and walked through the food prep area. He is a Bull Dog that is a foot and half tall. He cannot jump that high. He cannot breath on your food. Incidentally if you are worried about a dog contaminating the food wear face masks.
The person at the counter also claimed to have a service dog and knew the rules. If he honestly has a health issue he should not be endangering himself by working in a place where he is not allowed to have his dog. I will keep him...
Read moreWonderful food, staff is great, store is well kept and people are always friendly. Everything is fine as long as you order in the store. The only issue I have had is their delivery. The last time I ordered there it took them an hour and 20 minutes to deliver my sub and I am literally across the street where I work. I called and they said the delivery driver couldn't find the address. When the girl finally got here her eyes were blazing red. Wonder why. Finally, when I opened up my sub to eat it I ( because I work in food service, this is a habit) I found a huge long black hair in the center. I called the store and aksed if they could send a new sub and the girl said she couldn't help until the next day when a manager is on staff. Having no manager there during dinner seems very un-professional. Other than that little incident everything is fine. I suggest going during the day after lunch hour (1-3 p.m.) The staff on day shift is always...
