Wheelchair accessible with some challenges getting to restroom and seating due to booths. The food was EXCELLENT, authentic and was like being in Korea. The restaurant was clean and food service was quick. If you would like service, there is a button to call the waitress (like restaurants in Korean). The staff does not know English well but their menu is in Korean and English. Just note that if you have a question about something, they won't know how to explain it to you. Their side dishes are traditional and healthy. Highly recommend 감자탕 or 고등어 구이. Remember, courtesy bell button if you ever need anything. The reason for 3 stars is because of the management. They charged an 18% tip automatically even though we got our food and no one checked on us. We ate and when we left, the owner told us 18% gratuity was charged. That should be up to the customers. We normally tip 20% when we eat out if our server checks on us amd what not. The other issue was blaming the server for not checking on us. It just seemed weird that they are attempting adhere to American style tipping but only practice Korean style of service. The server had done what is standard for Korean servers. She did nothing wrong. She came when we pushed the button. We ordered 3 meals and with 18% tip it cost over $50. *Mgt: If you are going to enforce mandatory 18% tip, instead of blame your employees in front of customers, you should explain to them standard service practice for servers in American restaurants OR allow folks to tip what they want...
Read moreHow I feel when I walk through the doors of a restaurant is very important to me. When I entered the restaurant, there was no one behind the counter. I waited for about 5 minutes until someone from the restaurant spoke a single word to me. I was simply there to pick up a couple of oxtail soups. My to-go order had been sitting on a bench by the door just waiting for me to pick it up (there were multiple orders waiting to be picked up so I didn’t know which was mine and I still had to pay). -1 star The soup is very simple but I was disappointed to discover that the noodles (which come pretty standard in this soup) is only provided upon request. (A) Leaving noodles out of the soup in an attempt to save a couple of bucks affects the way I view the way the kitchen is managed. (B) If you are going to make something like this optional instead of standard, at least ask people when they call to order - this affects the way I view the way the floor is managed. -1 star The side dishes were, to be kind, pretty pathetic. We got some broccoli, kimchi that was not ready to be served, another type of kimchi, and some pickled radish. Needless to say, we didn’t really eat any of it (well, we picked at the broccoli). -1 star
I’m not sure if I’ll ever order from this place again. I’m not sure if I can recommend this place to anyone. Maybe we just had a bad experience. We’ll probably give it one more shot somewhere down the road but I am definitely not gonna hold my breath until...
Read moreThis place ended up being our second choice, as the restaurant we initially planned to visit was undergoing renovations on that scorching summer day. Adapting to the situation, we decided to try their marinated goat meat hot pot (보양전골), which turned out to be quite satisfactory. The hot pot came brimming with an ample amount of goat meat, including the goat skin. However, the dipping sauce for the meat was a tad overly sweet, and the selection of fresh vegetables was somewhat limited. The presentation of the hot pot was average, neither exceptional nor disappointing. On the service front, we received good attention. The waitress visited our table a few times to replenish our side dishes. Familiar with the culinary traditions, we took the liberty to transform the remaining goat meat into a rice-based porridge after enjoying the meat itself. The restaurant was bustling, situated between the peak hours of lunch and dinner. It's evident that the establishment has garnered a reputation and seems to have established a stable presence in the dining scene.

We ordered braised Hail Tail (갈치조림) which is very famous in this restaurant and 공등어구이 and 된장찌게 combo. It was quite good and service was outstanding...
