Mandoo Restaurant(만두아저씨) — Restaurant in Suwanee

Mandoo is the Korean style of dumpling. I love dumpling and mandoo, especially steamed mandoo filled with kimchi. I went to this restaurant located inside the H mart. I ordered mandoo stew (Korean-styled beef bone soup with 4 piece of dumpling and thick noodle) and steamed mandoo. I had the stew there and took mandoo home. In overall, all of my orders were good! I will come here to eat steamed mandoo next time. In detailed explanation, mandoo stew is slightly salty to me. I usually eat less salty foods. Although the soup is salty, mandoo in the stew was not salty. Actually, I think that stuff inside the mandoo needs a bit of salt. It looks like stew was boiled without mandoo resulting in insufficient taste of mandoo in the salty soup. However, mandoo itself tastes good but insufficiently salted. Mandoo skin is very thin but chewy texture, so that you can see inside slightly and enjoy mandoo skin taste. Moreoever, mandoo is fully filled with the stuff inside. The stuff is slightly black peppered; not strong but you can taste black pepper. Steamed mandoo tastes same as the mandoo in the soup but smaller side. My order of mandoo was provided with normal soy sauce. I like foods with mandoo here. I will definetly try another mandoo foods here next time. The price is not expensive. Actually, if you pay with cash not with you credit card, there is a discount: excluding credit card charging fee. Overall, it was good to know this mandoo restaurant. Because this restaurant is located at food court in the H mart, you need to use the H mart entrance to go to this restaurant and use the H mart exit which means you need to go...

This used to be a good place to go but everytime we try to order their famous dumplings they tell us they don't have any or can't sell us any.

We ordered some flavored chicken from there because it's really good but the owner admitted he gave our order away to the wrong person after we waited 30 minutes for our chicken! He then promised to make fresh ones for us after my husband waited another 15 minutes at this point it has been 45 minutes the owner stated they ran out of the one's we ordered. He tries to tell us I only have 7 but I can give you 7 more for a different flavor my husband said NO we ordered what we wanted it's your responsibility as the owner to make it right. We already paid and if he had just given us a refund and apologized for giving our order to someone else it would of made it a little better.

My husband said we want the chicken we ordered, so the owner goes to the back and by some miracle finds the flavor chicken we ordered and gives it to us and tells my husband to leave in a very RUDE WAY!

DON'T GO HERE PLEASE THERE ARE WAY BETTER CHICKEN PLACES that are more professional and courteous not rude and a total jerk like this owner was to us.

You have been warned! Go if you must but if this happens to you don't...

Update* Tried the dumplings they were the best thing there. You’ll get upsold the large dumpling for noodle meals and it was 💯😂 It’s like the only restaurant in the HMart that made it😅

Will be back to try dumplings. Had #1 Marinated Fried Chicken it was good. Had black bean noodle it was good but not homemade noodles. Cheaper than other places around $19 for 7pc and noodles😁
