So I am normally not the one who complains about anything. I was in the service industry and I know how things can work from time to time. But something needs to be said about this Arby's in Kenwood. Every time I want to go, I think to myself "What is going to be the problem or issue this time?". Going through the drive-thru is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE every single time. Normally there's a massive line, which is completely understandable as Arby's is a popular place to grab some "quick" food. However this Arby's is special.
You will sit at the drive-thru window for about 10 minutes before getting to the speaker to tell the employee what you want. Normally it takes about 10 minutes for them to even acknowledge that you are even sitting there. Many times I will have to ask "Hello?!" before I get a sarcastic "I will be right with you...". One of the times I sat for about 15+ minutes at the speaker before a word was even spoken to me. It is a normal thing at this Arby's to see multiple cars pass you and leave because they are tired of waiting. Seriously! Nearly every single time I have been there, cars will just up and leave because they got tired of waiting so long, and of course when the roast beef comes out it looks as if it was run over with a car and was sitting out for the whole day.
Now you may be thinking, this may not be an issue if you went inside and ordered. WRONG, it is actually just as bad. The service is so god damn slow and the employees are very snarky and sarcastically rude to you. Last time I went in I sat in line for about 20+ minutes, (shocker) then by the time I was nearing the cash register to order my food. They tell me that their machine is broken and they only are accepting cash... If you are looking for a quick meal, go somewhere else. Read moreMy experience in this place was so bad that it was almost comical and laughable. Sunday night I went there and it was a busy night, we waited together with everybody for about 30mins, and then finally learned that all they were waiting for was someone to cook French fries, so we all complained why they could not fulfill those orders without fries if that's what was holding them. Such poor judgement... The next day I went back again more out of curiosity, since I had never saw people managing business so badly. This time I was one of the only two customers and nevertheless I had to wait for 20mins to get my order. They had lot of burgers stacked in front of them but had to open each box to find what I ordered. While they were doing it, I asked whether they considered marking the box and how much longer I needed to wait, the waitress mumbled to her manager 'This is surely a night to remember, people like this is just driving me mad.'. So we had some words back and forth, in the end, I told them that I will deny all of their opportunities to serve me again. It was incredible to see how sluggish, tired, frustrated, depressed the employees all seem to be in this store, they have food, water, cleaning instruments all scattering on the floor but showed no interest to clean...
Read moreWent in and the breeze way door closed so fast and with such force it hit me! Went up to order, ( 2 beef and cheddar, large jamocha shake, and water) and paid. I was given a kid size water cup. Thanks for the tiny water after I just paid $15 for my food. I could see if that's all I asked for, but it wasn't, so give me a regular sized cup! Then we were told that it would be a few minutes on the shake. Someone forgot to turn the froster back on after cleaning it this morning. No big deal. However, the staff all went to the back to cut up, loudly, while we waited for our food. Never got it. We waited 7 minutes before just going and asking for a refund. And of course when the employee went to go get a manger, another employee came out to ask if we got our food. What a joke this location was!!
