I called to order carry out. They informed me there would be a 1 hour 40 minute wait. Ok, Iâm ok with that as long as I have a quality experience with quality food. I arrive 20 minutes early and immediately text them at the number listed on their sign outside. No reply. Fine. Then I call them and tell them I am ready to pick up my food. âWeâll bring it to you when itâs ready.â Ok, fair. Itâs still not been an hour and 40 minutes so thatâs fine that itâs not ready yet. When they bring my food out to me, all of it is cold. I repeat: all of my food that should be freshly out of the oven is COLD. I waited almost two hours for THIS?!? What a complete joke. On top of that, in the 30 minute span of time that I was at this restaurant, I didnât see even ONE other person picking up carryout and about a third of the dining room was empty. I have some questions: 1. Why did you make me wait 2 hours for food when you had no other carryout customers and youâre nowhere near dining room capacity. 2. Why is my food cold even though I got to the restaurant 20 minutes before you instructed me to get there? I spoke to the manager about this and she was totally unfazed by the complete system failure. She took one pizza off of my bill, but she showed no sympathy, understanding, or remorse. Nothing will ever change at this location unless you get new management.    Read moreI ordered a Peppercorn Ranch salad and a small Pepperoni Pizza today from Dewey's in Kenwood via Door Dash. When I received my order I opened my salad that had been sealed on both sides with red tape, poured the ranch dressing on and immediately put the lid back on to shake the salad with the dressing. When I reopened the salad a bug came crawling out of the bowl.
I called Dewey's in Kenwood and spoke with the manager, Kaley. She apologized and said unfortunately this happens from time to time with their produce. She also said that she could not refund me anything because I ordered through Door Dash. I know I ordered through DD, but she did not offer anything. I order from Dewey's constantly and always get a salad. She could have looked up my order history to see that I NEVER return anything or call to complain. I always usually order through Dewey's, but I was at work without a car today so had to use DD.    Read moreI have been eating at Dewey's for years and have had the opportunity to dine at several locations in the greater Cincinnati area as well as other cities and have found that the service across the board is excellent, the food is always spot on and the facility is always clean. This is by far my favorite location over all though because of the staff who are the most attentive and well trained in my opinion. They always go above and beyond and make my visits some of the best in the food service industry that I have ever had. This location can get very busy during typical rush times but they get people in and out in a timely manner without feeling rushed. To be honest the reason it usually takes a long time is because patrons are usually talking and enjoying themselves because it is such a great atmosphere. Everything on the menu is amazing, from the salads to the desserts. My only complaint is that the Tito isn't a permanent fixture...
