Nekter Juice Bar — Restaurant in Sycamore Township

I had stopped by this place to grab a smoothie quickly as I had driven through this place and wanted to try it . Had high hopes to have a really good smoothie but that wasn’t my experience . Walked in and totally lost my appetite for a smoothie since it was so unclean and felt like a very cheap place . I didn’t want to be rude and walk out without ordering , hence placed an order for smoothie that had coconut cream in it , it was prepared inside the small kitchen area and handed to me , I had it and felt ok but later on felt a weird itch in my throat and this later on upset my stomach as well . I’m a frequent customer because Nekter is amazing! They have great bowls and juices. I always feel healthier after eating/drinking their products. Only one confusing point: they have a saying “skip the line and order online.” Well yesterday I ordered ahead online, but when I got there they were busy with in-person orders. I was the very last person served despite having ordered before everyone. I received my order 20 minutes after the original estimated time. I asked the worker and she said they prioritize in person orders. So if they’re busy, I guess it’s faster to order in person? Otherwise great place and...

We had been meaning to try Nektar for a while and now that we have, we're hooked! The Kenwood location has friendly staff and our pick-up orders are ready before we arrive, even if it was fewer than 10 minutes earlier. Each smoothie we have tried has been delicious and unique. I have gluten and dairy allergies and while they don't guarantee cross-contamination won't occur, I haven't had any issues or gotten sick. This is a great store and well-run location! Thanks...
