Kung Fu Tea — Restaurant in Sycamore Township

I wish I could give this place zero star after my order today. I placed an order of 2 drinks, the topping in the 1st one is Aloe Jelly, the second one is 2 Aloe Jelly (which is double the amount). When I got my drinks, the 2x Aloe Jelly was not as much as I used to have (I always get 2x Aloe Jelly because I love it, so I know how much it looks in the cup). When I compare the amount of the jelly in 2 drinks, they weren’t different at all, even though the 1st one only have 1 Aloe Jelly. I friendly asked if they were sure to put 2x jelly in, and that I know it would be way more than what I got in my drink. The new girl (whom I’ve never seen before, she is an Asian girl, don’t get me wrong, I’m Asian too and I’m not being a anti-Asian or anything). She immediately gave me attitude for asking to correct my order, rolled her eyes, gave me the “face”… I knew that they were busy, but I paid almost $1 for my extra jelly, I should have received what I paid for. When she gave me my drink back, she didn’t even look at me or say anything, just coldly put my drink on the counter. That is so unprofessional and it should not be the way you supposed to treat your customer. Totally...

I asked for the Memorial Day’s promotion which is buy 3 get 1 free. When I come there, I asked the guy about that promotion, he said that yes I can order 3 and get 1 for free. After he checked everything out, i asked so how am I gonna get the free one. He looked at the bill and told me the Olong milk tea in my order was free (they deducted 6$ from my bill because I collect enough points on my Kungfu tea App). I said no it’s 6$ free for having enough point on my account, it wasn’t the promotion. The THIS TIME HE READ THE PROMOTION again from my phone and told me that I had to order 4 in order to get 1 free, and I had to make another transaction to get the promotion. I was like: why didn’t he tell me from the beginning? When I asked how many should I order to get the promotion, he told me 3! I feel like when you work for whatever business, if your business is offering promotions, you are the one who know the promotions the most to inform your customers. The free money from the point and the promotion are not conflict at all, you can use both in one transaction. They asked me to make another transaction of 4 cups, how the hell I can consume 7 cups...

My friend and I frequently enjoy getting Kung Fu Tea in the mornings around 30-45 minutes after opening time. We have experienced much frustration as we show up and realize that no one is working there. This has happened multiple times, and we even check the opening times of this store and it always says it’s open when we go. We have even called a few times before, and we got no response but we went anyway and were left upset. We find it a bit unprofessional that there is often no one working when we come, and even after we wait for more than 10 minutes. We absolutely love the tea, and that is why we wish there would be someone working there when they say it’s open. We are extremely disappointed and hope this problem is resovled. There may be some outside circumstances that we don’t know about, like the opening time, but if this is the case, we would...
